Super quiet desk fan.
This is a great little fan! It’s very quiet on both settings so you are able to watch tv without having to turn the volume up. Gives out a good cold breeze, ideal for been next to the bed on a night. Sturdy and well made, very happy with my purchase.

Bit expensive, but very good!
I love this fan! I have a very small bedroom so I didn't want a full 12 inch desk fan taking up loads of space on my table, but also didn't want the small flimsy ones which don't cool you down very well. This is exactly what I was looking for. PERFORMANCE: It's a really simple product, but it works well and is more powerful than I thought it would be. It can be tilted up or down, and has two speed settings on a light switch-type control on the back. The first setting is a nice for a gentle breeze, the faster one is actually much more powerful than I expected from quite a small product. Noise-wise, it emits a low hum (unavoidable for a fan – moving blades are never going to be 'whisper quiet'), but isn't very noisy at all, actually quite relaxing for those who like unobtrusive white noise. LOOKS: It also looks great! It's matte black coated metal and looks as 'clean' and 'elegant' as a fan can look; I don't mind keeping it out when it's not being used. As mentioned, it's a great size for when you want something smaller than a regular desk fan (which waste so much space on the stem), but don't want the novelty small fans that are only useful when you have them a foot from your face. Would be ideal for an office desk, kitchen counter, or a bedside table. PACKAGING & EXTRAS: The product arrived fully assembled which was a nice surprise with not too much excess packaging, and no plastic. The charging cable that comes included with the product also feels high quality and is around 1.2 metres long. It does NOT come with a USB socket adaptor. Be aware that this product does not have a battery – it has to be plugged into a USB port to turn on.

Loud motor noise that penetrates headphones and walls
The fan has good build quality but emits low-frequency noise that is surprisingly loud - louder than some much larger fans. The low frequency vibration propagates to my desk and can be heard through noise isolating headphones and walls. It qualifies as unusable by my standards. In this review I'll compare the 8 inch EasyAcc fan (£17.84) to a similarly designed noname 8 inch desk fan (£10.99) that has noticeably lower build quality. They were purchased at the same time. It's a bit subjective but in my opinion both fans (EasyAcc and noname) move a fair amount of air even on their low settings so I prefer keeping a 50-100cm distance from them. They move significantly more air than a 8 inch NF-A20 Noctua computer fan but they have higher power ratings and higher noise levels too. The NF-A20 fan has a virtually noiseless motor and most of its noise seems to originate from air flow. It is 0.85W while the low settings of the EasyAcc and noname fans are 2.6W and 1.4W respectively. Unfortunately the air flow of my NF-A20 computer fan isn't enough for me on hot summer days (30 Celsius or higher), maybe I should try an array of NF-A20 fans... Both USB fans have two speed settings. Power rating: the EasyAcc is 3.2W or 2.6W, the noname is 4.3W or 1.4W (measurements have been taken with a USB voltmeter). The low setting of the noname fan (1.4Watts) is more than enough for me: I can feel the cool breeze from 50-100cm distance. Even the high setting of the noname (4.3W) feels less noisy than the low setting of the EasyAcc because the motor noise of the noname doesn't have an insanely strong low-frequency component. The noname fan has uneven surface (the metal parts are lower quality) and the shiny paint (fingerprint-magnet) makes it even more noticeable. The EasyAcc metal frame has higher quality (smooth surfaces) and the matte paint doesn't attract fingerprints. On the noname fan the paint was already peeling out of the box (where the stand is attached with a screw). The rubber parts (legs and two rings where the stand is attached to the cage) on the noname have rough/dry surface and strong bad smell that hasn't improved a week after unpacking. On the EasyAcc fan the rubber parts have shiny/sticky surface and don't smell bad. This and the different type of screw is why the EasyAcc fan can hold its position when I tilt it while the noname struggles to keep its position. The plastic fan of the EasyAcc seems to be perfectly aligned with the shaft of the motor, on the noname there is a ridiculously obvious misalignment (see the photos) - this is very noticeable when the fan rotates slowly (during startup and shutdown). The noname fan has a tiny brushed DC motor - they clearly didn't try hard to optimise for low noise but still managed to be less noisy than the EasyAcc. It's blindingly obvious that the designers of these USB desk fans didn't care about noise levels. I couldn't completely disassemble the EasyAcc to see its motor because that would probably require removing the fan blades that seem to be secured with molten red plastic on the shaft of the fan/motor (see the photos). The EasyAcc motor has strong permanent magnets inside: in turned off state the fan blades snap to 4 different positions while on the noname the fan blades seem to rotate almost freely. Manually spinning the EasyAcc fan makes it vibrate. That vibration becomes worse when the fan is turned on and spins at higher RPMs. In my eyes the clear winner is the noname fan. Not because it is as noise free as I would like it to be but because it's at least usable due to not having the strong low-frequency noise of the EasyAcc: my desk doesn't vibrate from the noname fan and it can't be heard through noise isolating headphones (at least on the low 1.4Watt setting that I prefer).

8 inch fan - ideal for summer
Update: 20/07/22 - sadly the clicking noise seems to be an issue with the 8 inch fans. The new one that was supplied by the company developed the same issue quite some time ago and, because I need the fan, I have just learned to live with it. The clicking noise is quite loud but you get used to ur after a while. This is a review of the 8 inch fan, I have 3 of the 6 inch ones and they are perfect. The 8 inch fan is a perfect size for the bedroom and is powerful enough to cool me down in this heat albeit that it is in close proximity to me on the bedside table. The first one I received had a clicking noise during operation (see video) but after reaching out to the supplier they confirmed it was a fault and a replacement was arranged within 24hrs. The new fan runs smoothly with and is pretty much silent, I can’t recommend these fans enough.

Airflow isnt strong enough to cool larger rooms
Very quiet but airflow is not as strong as other fans this size. Perhaps I would get a more noisy fan in exchange for stronger flow. Good for a desk but not for a larger room. You need a plug socket as it only has a USB cord.

Some like it hot, I don't.
So much better then the usual small fans as the air displacement is so much more. The 2 speed settings are also a big plus. Product is made of proper non cheap materials and has been working for months now with no issues.
