DeLonghi KG49 Electronic Coffee-Bean Grinder with 3 Grind Settings

This is an excellent mechanical device, which does exactly what it supposed to do: grind coffee beans! A delight to use in the morning, helping me waking up to the aroma of coffee. Not sure about how sensitive the quantity dial is to different amounts of coffee beans, but in practice one would stick to one position - after a few tries. The in-built brush looks like a designer's after thought... And I don't like the broad brush shape, I prefer something longer and smaller, like a traditional paint brush.

Oh this is a gem. Simple, efficient, and very effective. For those who endorse the KISS (Keep-It-Simple-Sailor)-principle this is a very good machine. It keeps it very simple, very effective and allows for adequate adjustments based on the bean or spiced being pulverized. Absolutely recommended. I was disappointed because this machine, even tho costing more than my previous machine no longer had a cord winder on the bottom. It was now a pain in the neck to rewind the cord, So I now just wind it around the grinder itself. Plus the stupid brush keeps falling out

Bought this product after reading reviews of on [...]. After just the second time using it, it stopped working. A couple of other annoying features of the product are:1. Have to press really hard on the cover to get the motor to start2. Very poorly designed bottom dial that shows you what the setting is and how fine/coarse the grind will be.Will never buy this product again and recommend others from doing so.

The top (lid) is very hard to operate the grinder, If it is a 1000th of an inch off the unit will not work.

Bought this grinder for my wife and she loves it, really makes the smell and taste of coffee come out, I even drink some every now and then since it smells so good. Great product, though we have only had it for about 3 weeks.

Not as good as the previous model. It gets coffee grounds all over the counter when you open the top

This is my second one. First one Brooke cause my friend was hung over and overfilled it with beans. He is no longer allowed to make coffee at my house.Great grinder though no other issues had it for about 3 years before that. Almost splurged and bought one of the epic self grinding coffee makers. Maybe next time.Recommended for the price.

Zero complaints. Still works perfect and smooth like day one. i use with my aero press daily and have yet to run into an issue. I think I'll go make a cup now.

Why did I buy another? Easy. I love mine, as it allows me to control fineness and the brush tool minimises was of the precious coffee. Great product for a small kitchen.....better than the expensive capsule things!

While the grinder has an amazing look, it is not very functionnal...The grinding cup is half plastic, thin plastic furthermore and half stainless-steel. I suspect it wont last very long, since the grounded coffee is staying in the stainless steel bottom...static keeping half on the powder in the bottom, if you knock gently the cup, it is the plastic who takes it. And the minute you open the cover, it puffs out making a real mess....Should had stayed with my idea to repplace my Hamilton Beach by the same...considering it was cheaper and much better. Sorry DeLonghi

I thought this would last at lot longer that just a year and a half considering it is a DeLonghi.Very disappointing!
