Highly Recommended!
I love this book. I've struggled with gaining and losing weight for 40-50 years. Applying the information in this book, I lost 7.5 pounds in a month. The process was painless, and I was greatly surprised to see the number on the scale this morning! I also see the principles having a good effect in many other areas of my life as well. I look forward to re-reading the book often. Great Thanks and appreciation to the author for writing this.

Good book about a relevant topic
I liked the concept and topic of the book. It was generally an easy read. The examples were appropriate and easy to relate to.

AMAZING!
It is a must read!!! So helpful! Ever since I started reading this I’ve put his words into practice. I love it so much I bought a hard copy to highlight and take notes on. I also bought one for my brother.

Great insight to disciplined living.
I found this book to be easy to read and it is packed with insights about why we might be undisciplined and what we can do about it. It is truly a “self-help” book because it puts the responsibility of self-disciplined squarely on the readers shoulder. I read this book at the beginning of the new year to help set myself up for success in the goals I want to accomplish both in this year and for the rest of my life. I will update this review next year when I see how it has helped me apply my personal discipline.

Reasonable rehash of existing ideas
There’s nothing groundbreaking in this book, but it’s still a worthwhile read, especially if you’re new to self-help. There’s no credit given for the ideas of others or sense that the ideas aren’t the author’s. Unfortunately, if the author hired an editor, they didn’t do their job very well. There were words missing regularly or poor grammar, which made the flow of reading somewhat difficult. Some of his important statements were worded the exact opposite of what he clearly meant, based on the deeper explanations of those statements. But does it do its job of helping you get closer to living a self-disciplined life? Yes, I think so.

Easy read, to the point, impactful, bigger font!
Love this book. I wanted to get back into reading to unplug from technology so I started a book club focused on self development books. This was my first book choice. Loved it. Easy read, font is bigger I think maybe a 14font. It’s to the point. He suggests another book he wrote called Mini Habits. It’s shorter with the same fonts and I hope the same writing style. Highly recommend a lot of impactful thought.
