Do not hesitate to purchase!
Cleaning windows on the second floor of our home has always been a big process. Pull out the ladder, clean the outside and then clean the inside as a separate step. After being in our home for 30 years it was getting to be too much for us (do not like being on ladders that high these days). In addition there were always some streak marks left behind. We used this tool today and it is easy and amazing! Cleans the inside and outside at the same time with ease! And NO streaks. I should get a kick back for this daunting review! Do not hesitate to buy it works like a charm!

Awesome product!
We live in a very old house with the original 100+ year old windows over 3 stories. This window cleaner worked wonderfully! Excellent quality.

Much better than a filthy window
It sorta works. Glad I bought it. Cleaned a couple of filthy inaccessible high rise windows and did a decent job. Agree with instructions - you use the terry finishing cloth wet with dish soap if the window is very dirty. By the second wash the window is surprisingly clean. If you wash a third time it would be even better but the product is clumsy to use and I got tired and moved on to the next window. If the window isn’t too dirty would work ok on the first pass. Get both sides of the window soapy and wet, otherwise the squeegee side will drag and you may loose magnetic coupling. Plan on the product flopping off at least two times per window. That’s clumsy, noisy and frustrating. I was careful to anchor the tether cord securely, and to pull in the slack of the cord as I worked. When the product loses connection and flops off - it will bang the wall surface below the window. I don’t think the housing is heavy enough to break the windows of downstairs neighbors if you don’t reel in the slack. . We have single pane 5mm windows so I ordered the smallest model. They give you a calipers in the box to measure exactly and instruct you to contact them if the magnets don’t hold. I see the bigger magnets are more $$ online - not sure how their customer service would reconcile. I have a couple of lateral slider windows that you can’t reach to place the outside cleaner. I jury rigged a pole with Velcro- stuck the pole and outside component out the window, and caught it with the inside magnet - it worked fine. Yes, I am that guy. Our window frames are metal and the magnet of the product tended to flop on the edges. The sweeping motion shown in the videos takes a lot more effort than it shows - the product takes more force and attention than you think. Making sure both window sides are very wet reduces this effort. I was very surprised how clean the windows became. The edges weren’t great but I gave up after two passes. I’ll keep the item and use it once a year maybe if the building window washers are late and the windows are driving me crazy.

LOOK OUT BELOW! FALLING MAGNET!
In full disclosure, I love this product. It cleans my windows wonderfully. The technique I've established is if the window is very dirty, to Windex and use the squeegee side of the tool. Possibly a few times, up to 3 times I've needed to do on our condo windows in NYC. The glass will be streaky afterwards, I then apply Windex to the blue cloth that attached and go back over the window. This makes it near perfect. I'm extending a 1-star review due to a significant safety hazard. This product comes with a string that you hold and keep inside the window, assuming it will fall off the window. It will fall, regularly. No big deal, it has a string right? WRONG. See my photos. In one instance that this fell, it swung down and must've hit the frame of our window. It knocked the magnetic holder loose, and BOOM the magnet went flying to the ground. This is no ordinary magnet, it's heavy. Very heavy in fact, if it had hit someone, it would've inflicted a serious wound. I was able to recreate this same issue by just hitting the unit onto a solid surface and the magnet came loose again. To prevent this from happening, I applied Gaffers tape onto both holders to ensure it does not fly to the ground again, from our fourth floor condo in Brooklyn.

Does not work for double-pane windows
I read previous posts but chose to ignore the negative reviews because I was desperate for clean windows. I should have heeded advice by previous posters... As others have stated previously, this glider does not work well with double-pane windows. Forget about even washing the windows as quickly as shown in the video because the pieces fell apart constantly for me. Even when I moved the glider very slowly-- and I mean like, an inch every 3 seconds-- the pieces would still fall apart. There is a string that keeps the pieces together so that when it falls apart, the pieces don't fall and hit people below. I had my husband try and he basically cursed at it the entire time and was not able to clean an entire window. The thing that sucks the most is that this seller does not accept returns so now I am stuck with an $80 piece of junk. Update: Since my original review, the owner has contacted me. I have to say that I am very impressed by the level of customer care that they have, as well as the expectations that set for themselves and their product-- they believe that if the customer is not happy with the product, then the customer should not have to be stuck with the product, and they are receptive to feedback that can help them improve. I was able to get a refund for this product, and I would be open to trying this product again in the future if I have different windows.

Tyroler D3. Amazing product and custom service
I love this product and I am amazed by how well it works, no streaks! My husband was really skeptical but I insisted that we buy the Tyroler. We have a 3 story home and our power-washer can’t reach our upper windows and it had been 18 yrs with no outside wash. In five minutes I finished that first window. Wow! Worth every penny. Then I had a what I’d call a freak accident on the third window as I the unit became dislodged from the window fell to the ground One of the magnets fell out of the unit and broke. I emailed the company asking if I could buy a replacement magnet and sent pictures. Their response was quick and a new D3 arrived within a week. Amazing customer service! I am so pleased with this company and my beautiful clean windows. My tip: remember my to use a lot of window cleaner on both sides!!🤗

!!REALLY THINK ABOUT YOUR WINDOWS BEFORE YOU BUY!!
I do not think this product is worth the cost. I probably could have gotten similar results with a mop and a squeegee on a pole. Figuring out how to get the glider onto the top portion of the window was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. I live on the 3rd floor of a brownstone in NYC, with 5 huge double-paned windows, that are easily 7 feet tall each. 2 of them are South-facing, and you see every bit of dirt when the sun hits them. Because my windows overlap, with the bottom pane moving up to cover the top pane, it was really difficult to get the outside piece of the glider on the top part of the window. The magnet is strong enough to hold between 2 panes of glass, but not 4. My windows are so tall that once they're open I cannot reach a portion that's not overlapping. I would highly recommend thinking this through before you buy, and testing how high you can reach if your windows overlap. I tested several methods on 1 window that has a little roof below it, because I thought it would be safe for the glider to fall there, without me losing it. To get the glider on the top portion of my window I ended up having to jury-rig a pole to push it up to the top pane, then carefully close the bottom pane partially, place the interior portion of the glider on the window, and remove the pole. During my testing phase I had a LOT of drops, the green plastic pieces holding the magnets in easily fall out if the glider hits anything during a fall, and the magnets pop out. They're easy to put back in, but once I was working without the safety of the roof, I as terrified the glider was going to fall, the magnet pop out, and I would lose it into my neighbor's garden. The washing pretty much works as advertised. You have to go slowly and carefully and have a ton of water/cleaner for the squeegees to not stick. The microfiber cloths get dirty after the first use, especially if your windows aren't super clean to start with, and after that, I felt like I was basically just spreading dirt around on my windows. My first window turned out cleaner, but not great, with a lot of buildup around the edges, and where the two panes meet. My second window turned out slightly better, so maybe as you develop your technique it gets easier. Neither were streak free by any stretch of the imagination. I stopped after 2, because my front windows aren't as dirty as the back, and I'm considering whether it's worth moving forward with this imperfect method.

It works! What's wrong with everyone! :-)
It's great and works. My process below. Ot sure what's wrong with all the reviewers. This thing is great for my double Pane windows in my 3rd floor NYC apartment overlooking busy 2nd Ave in midtown. Normally costs me 80 bucks per windows set to be cleaned by a professions. I've even done it myself with a buckets and squeegee. Instead now I did it myself granted with some tweaks to their recommended process but nothing crazy. No bucket no longer needed just a spray bottle. Don't even need to clear the around my windows and it does the inside and outside at the same time. This is clearly a much better version than the crap as seen tv you see sold all over. My tips: use a good soapy soap like dishwashing soap. May have to spray and clean twice if needed. Could also attach a light scrubbing cloth via the Velcro if you need some extra cleaning power. Moving the device may take some finesse but not Olympic level lol. AND TIE UP THE OUTSIDE PIECE WELL DONT JUST USE THE RING !!! TIE the string. It will fall but who cares. You get the hand of it eventually. I was even able to leave my screen on for those windows so didn't need to TIE it up then. After cleaning and squeegee I then wiped them with them I micro fiber clothes. But did this a second time using another set of microfiber cloths which worked even better. Just make sure it velcros to the outside unit and is thin enough not to Impact the magnet. Overall cleaning windows is a short process and just needs some patience and wiping a couple time using clean cloths each time. This is also the case with a professional squeegee. Highly recommend!!!!
