Too small for the Mate 20 X, and apparently faulty
I've been looking for a gimbal for a couple of years. This was the first one I'd seen with a YouTube review specifically mentioning the Huawei Mate 20X, however, I have found it to be too small for this phone. The clamp presses the power Button at the optimal balance point, and even then, the level calibration finds a way to knock the phone and fail to calibrate properly.Appears to work fine with my old phone, but it's camera is pants, so no real win for me. Probably great if you've got a normal phone, but its no good for me 😔Update. Used my wife's phone, and the unit I received appears to be faulty. The level calibration completes, but the level falls off the the left (phone rotated counter clockwise). By around 200 m into our walk, the phone was skewed by around 25 to 30 degrees. Found the return option but no help was obvious, so it's going back. On repacking, I found a security seal that I didn't open, so it appears that it's been used and probably for the same fault. Thought it was odd that the battery was so full when I first turned it on.Rather disappointed, really.

Such promise, but if you have the right phone...
The specs, the reviews, the app all looked really good. My phone is the OnePlus 7 Pro and at 209 grams well inside the weight. Unfortunately, at 8.8mm thick, is also supposed to be within the bracket size, but it only just holds it and I'm not sure if I trust it if knocked. Certainly not held anywhere close to the centre of the front to back of the bracket which is a real pity. So while it says <= 8.9mm it is much less than that, but perhaps depends on the shape of the phone. It held such promise :-(

Good smooth videos
I bought this for a work trip to China and was bored of taking photos so I thought I'd make a video. The stabilisation is really good and it's easy to tell the difference in the video when using this gimbal compared to going 'freehand'. My only gripe is there is limited movement in the up/down direction so you have to hold it horizontally if you want to take that kind of shot. But it is very compact compared to other models so it was great for traveling.

Best gimbal around bar none
I spent a good 6 weeks searching gimbals before I bought this one.The reason I did was1) it's size, folds away into your trouser pocket unlike others.2) it has a trigger button you press for focusing on 1 point. You don't need ton use your phone screen.3) battery life is silly long. Used mine over 8 hrs never needed to recharge but did anyway.4) support is good, fb group with fast response and others using it helps with learning how to get the best video or pictures.5) price, it's well priced, not low, but certainly nothing like the £150+ you can spend.Overall its brilliant, took me a hour or of test footage to get the best from it, afyer that it's all good.the app is brilliant, plenty mty for the newbie and confident to customise the shot for best results.

Better than osmo
After 3months of using. Produced a really stabilized videos. Used it more on my gopro than my phone. And turns out to be a great pair! But you need a mount for the go pro.

Not that easy to use
It does what is says on the tin BUT, not very quick reacting to movement and wanders a bit. For what it cost, Am I expecting too much?
