Fast, well made and easy to fit.
This is my second SP branded NVME drive, my other being a 2TB model.Fitting this one was fairly straight forward as I didn't need to remove the GPU, although I did take one of the fans off the CPU Heatsink for better access.I first made a Macrium Backup of the Windows 10x64 drive, this 512GB SP NVME drive was going to replace my boot drive. Then after powering the PC off I made a cup of tea :).......Removing the one fan from the CPU Heatsink allowed me access to the top M2 slot. I removed the heatsink and put aside for the offset fitting of a new thermal pad - you can see the blue thermal pads fitted in a photo.Placing a NVME motherboard standoff "stud" onto the board for the NVME to be screwed to was easy enough, they are supplied with the motherboard or can be bought separately. I fitted the NVME drive and used the screw supplied with the standoff to secure it in place. You can see that in a photo.I then carefully, not touching with fingers the adhesive thermal pad, applied and located the heatsink over the freshly installed NVME drive and screwed it into place. After placing the Heatsinks fan back into place I was ready to boot the machine back up. I pressed F12, works for my Gigabyte Z390 motherboard to invoke the boot menu, to boot to my USB created boot stick with Macrium Reflect installed on it.This then booted to their DOS type environment which allowed me to restore the Windows image to the newly installed NVME drive. That worked fine.A reboot into the BIOS to select the NVME drive as the first boot option and then I booted into Windows, no issues. All went well with the installation and also the registration for the five years warranty of the drive, just follow the information on the packaging to register the NVME drive.I then ran crystaldisk mark to check the speed, see photo and all was well. You can also see the max and min temps of the drive when that was being ran, see photo. For me I did have one issue and that was with Windows 10x64 default NVME driver, not a problem of the drive. It would fail to wake from S3 sleep about half the time. I have had this as an issue in the past so I knew what to do. Instead of using the generic Windows drivers with this drive I used the latest Samsung NVME driver - again See photo. Now it never fails to wake from sleep.I would not hesitate but recommend this drive. It is fast and has a full five years warranty, and the price is competitive.I do hope that this review has helped you.Best wishes

Decent size, reliable, fast and great value
I've not found a better drive for £20 and I buy a lot of SSDs. Having installed over 20 of these drives I find them to be just as fast as many of the other better known brands, and so far I've not had any reliability issues.Clean Windows installs are fast and without issue, considering this type of drive was more than double this price just 6 months ago I can't imagine ever buying anything smaller again.

Solid if not top performer at competitive price
I have had this SSD for a couple of weeks now. I cannot say that in everyday use I can notice much difference in load time between this and my previous SATA drive. Maybe a bit faster to load web browser, some heavy app (like photo editing software, GIMP, etc.) and games, but hard to tell really. A SATA SSD is already pretty fast.Running benchmarks in AS SSD and Crystal Disk Mark (see screenshots) it is definitely faster than my SATA SSD and a mechanical HDD that are still in my PC for storage. The speeds of this NVMe SSD are not the ones advertised (~3000MB/s), hence the 4 instead of 5 stars, but not too far off. The write speeds drop with larger file (e.g. 10GB in the AS SSD test), down to <700MB/s, but this is kind of expected with the buffer filling up. Overall, as it is very competitively priced AND comes with a 5 years warranty, I think this is an excellent drive for this price.

Excellent performance and best value for money
Was looking for a NVme drive at a price that wasnt over the top and this fit the bill. Easy to install in an M2 slot, detected by Motherboard without any issue and installed Windows 10 with zero problems. On speed it is on a par with the likes of Nvme drives from Samsung or Crucial and costs a fair bit less (at this price point it is closer to SATA SSd's of the same capacity from them and being nvme is a lot faster) . Cannot speak for longevity not having had it that long but so far so so good. All in all very pleased with this drive and can recommend.

Great NVME for the price
I bought this on reviews and price.I have been very pleased, over my Sata SSD for sequential reads and writes it is night and day and only slows down on the big 4K files. However the majority of NVME SSD's do as well.Easy to install depending on your motherboard. (X470 Msi gaming plus) and lightning fast.Really pleased with it. Comes with 5 year warranty and the registration was easy on the Silicon Power website.Would I recommend? YesWould I buy again, Yes based on experience so far.

Such great value.
Just be mindful when you buy an M2 drive that you will need to delve into your packet of screws. This doesn't come with the required screw and will just sit loose on the mobo. This particular M2 drive is super quick. Its a real steal. Getting 600mb/s transfer to a regular SSD which the SSD max. Im sure this will go to 2500mb/s if i had 2 of them.

PC now boots in 10 to 15 seconds
So glad I bought this SSD drive. My Win 10 PC boots in 10 to 15 seconds now. No idea on longevity but am only using it for the operating system so its only about half full so should last a good few years.Am using old school HDD drives for data and my PC is so fast now.Obvs your motherboard will have to have a compatible M.2 slot to be of use.
