Bissell 4" ProHeat & SpotBot Upholstery Tool 203-6653

I own a Bissell Big Green Machine and unfortunately stepped on the factory cleaning tool and broke it at the connection where it hooks to the hose. I use it quite a bit so was in a rush to find a replacement and found this one on Amazon the reviews were good enough so I purchased it. I knew from other reviewers that this was going to be a smaller product than the original so my above negative comments only reflect the comparison versus the original it works just fine for what it is.

I bought this to use with my mom's SpotBot (she has the sage green model). I needed to clean the upholstery on my couch after finally getting rid of a nasty roommate and his dog, which had urinated and tracked feces and other filth all over my couch during their short cohabitation with us. This attachment did the trick, I was able to use this, the SpotBot, and Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer cleaner to clean my couch, and now it smells like heaven and looks brand new!The only negative I found with this was that is does not seem to seal onto the hose as snug as I would have anticipated. I could feel air suction where the attachment connected with the hose, but no fluid leaking occurred at the connection. Concerned about a lack of suction, I just made sure my hand was wrapped around the connection point to create a seal while I used it. I guess this could use a better seal at the connection to the hose. I could wrap duct tape around that point, and it would solve to problem, but would make reconnecting the hose to the machine difficult.

I personally love replacing parts that my children break and the fact that I can do it looking super-ugly on the couch and have it arrive A DAY EARLY. Like, thank you. You guys get me. Now I can get back to scrubbing the green smoothie my son smeared all over my trunk in a fit of toddler rage. I do have to say, it would be nice if you guys sold the nice sage colored attachment so I could at least pretend we don't break everything here, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Bissell saves the day again!

Have only used once. Spray pattern is actually wider than the brush itself but it works well; seems to be more sturdily constructed than the upholstery attachment i ordered a couple years ago when i bought the Big Green. That manufacturer-supplied brush broke early on; was able to tape it together with duct tape but the suction never worked quite right. then it fell apart again.this one seems to be a better design and so far has worked better spray and suction wise.

Not sure if they upgraded the attachments or this is not the same attachment. The attachment did it’s job. However I noticed right away when opening the package how it is smaller. It does it’s job but I felt like being smaller, it took longer to clean

If you're looking for a replacement for a Bissell Spotbot Pet, this is the wrong one. It fits and it works fine but it will not fit on the accessory storage spot on the spotbot. The three inch one is the one that fits that. Well I gave it five stars because it was exactly what I needed to fit a Bissell spot bot however, not only is my Bissell broken, I already had the attachment for it 😂 so I bought it for nothing.🙄 It was a fair price and it arrived quickly.

The Green Machine works great that this tool is very handy. I used it as part of the stair cleaning routine. I found that, after using the tools quite vigorously it was very effective to make one last pass this this tool with a fresh spray and two or three passes of suction only. This helped remove most of the dirty water embedded in the material and got out enough water to speed the drying process.
