Case-Mate iPhone 6 Tough - Titanium Cool Gray/Olympian Blue

I'm actually rating this case 4-1/2 stars seeing there's not an option for the selection of half stars here.Five stars are reserved for a "perfect product" in my opinion.Nonetheless, let me start by saying that this is an awesome case by Casemate, and I'm not surprised as I've purchased their products before in the past.This case (black) is really attractive between its chrome buttons, curved edges to the back, that mirrors the true shape of the iPhone 6, and with it's embossed texture to the outer layer of the case. Yes, this case is a two part case. Starting with the inner more rubbery section, and with part two of the harder, outer textured section which assembles onto your phone quite easily, and with a nice tight fit.Also, the tactile response to the buttons are very very nice. Although, the power button does feel a bit loose and does rattle slightly, which leaves myself hoping it doesn't become worse down the road. Also, did they have to make the rear facing camera cutout so large?I do have to say that I'm liking this case more each day and that this case definitely offers more of a protective quality, with, at the same time feeling quite "slim" than most cases I've had thus far.There is one thing about this case I don't care for, and that's the rather large openess of the bottom cutout area. I feel that they could of designed it a litte better in regards to the somewhat flimsy portion that runs across the bottom front. Although, I haven't run into any issues with it so far.Nice job overall Casemate!

UPDATE 10.22.16:My iPhone 6 took a tumble yesterday and the screen shattered. I did not have a screen protector on it. Looking at the Case-Mate, I can see that it cracked during the fall as well near the bottom of the phone where the damage to the screen was the worst. Downgrading 1 star and ordering a Crave Dual Guard right now. I've dropped the phone dozens of times on many surfaces with no issue. Also adding a tempered glass screen protector as another layer of protection. This thing needs to last until the iPhone 8 has been out for a while...I had two of these for my iPhone 4S so I was pleased to see Case-Mate kept a similar design for the iPhone 6. Two piece design provides excellent drop protection. Slight lip allows you to place the device face down without touching the screen to the surface. Texture is grippy enough to keep device from slipping but not so grippy as to get caught in a pocket. Buttons are smooth and require little more force than if the phone was without a case.The ring/silent switch is accessible, but not as easy to access as the 4S. This is more of an Apple problem than the design of the case. The curved screen also makes it difficult for the inner layer of TPU to form a good seal on the edge of the screen. I don't expect any durability problems but dirt and pocket lint will likely get caught here.Overall a great case for the price (~$20 shipped at this time).

I wouldn't use ANY other case brand for my new phone. I'm really clumsy, I drop my phone A LOT. Like, twice a week. Everywhere; kitchen tiles, concrete floor, while walking, while RUNNING, name it. This case is simply the best for tough use. I had the same model for my older phone, which I used for about 4 years. I must have dropped my phone (in the case) more than 100 times. The case had a MINOR scratch, no cracks, nothing. My phone was in perfect condition too.PROS:- Durability x1000- Makes your phone almost unkillable- Speakers and charging hole are both uncovered. No issue plugging even if I use a bigger cable. Same for headphones. Camera too.- Buttons are great. No issue what so ever, great responsiveness- Easy to washCONS:- Kind of sound silly, but the phone design makes that there's a curve around the edges on the front. This is perfect dust pocket. Oh well..Love it. You'll love it too, SERIOUSLY. See my pictures.

Easily my favorite case. It is a 2 piece with excellent protection from drops. This does not protect from moisture however. Buttons all work great and when you put it together, there is a feel that it goes on "too easy". That is until you try to take it apart and you realize just how secure it is. I am a mechanic and use this at work along with a good screen protector. The slim minimalist design is awesome. Protection is off the chart. Believe me, I drop and bang it around a lot.I would compare the protection to the otter box commuter series, but a way better build.Side note: The wife has the same case in Purple. She continuously get compliment on how nice of a case it is.

Not quite as grippy as I had hoped, but I suppose it offers a nice balance between grippiness and the ability to easily slide in and out of pockets.Bottom section covers one of the holes for the speaker -- but since there are about 6-8 of those holes, it is probably not a big deal. Still, Case-Mate should redesign that section.This case extends only very slightly above the screen (in front) and beyond the protruding camera lens (in back). You can set it down, front or back, and the case will keep your phone's screen or lens from touching anything - but I would have liked just a little bit more protection in that regard.

This case is well made. It comes as two pieces... a hard piece and a rubbery piece that fit together. I never had an issue with them coming apart unexpectedly.The case was a little too bulky for me.Also, the bottom piece of the case was very thin and seems like it would not hold up to being put in and out of my pants pockets for very long.But the main issue was that I wanted it to have a little more "grip" to the rubbery surface than it has.

I love this iPhone 6 Case-Mate case. It is very durable, a great size, and has sort of a textured pattern on the back which makes it not slip around and gives a good grip in my hand. I previously had a lighter gray version but after more than two years and even though I cleaned it all the time, it was still looking rather dirty and worn out, so I replaced it with this black one. I know - who keeps their phones for more than two years - the answer is me. I love the size of my iPhone 6 and will keep it for a while longer and know that I have a great classic, protective case for it.

Dual layer protection. Inner ( blue ) is a soft silicon ( i think ) covering the iphone and the grey outer is a tough ( but rubberized finish ) and grippy one. The texture on the back is very nice. Overall, a very nice case.

It was the outer covering that made me want to buy the case and I am not disappointed, not yet at least. It provides excellent grip when being held but I tried sliding it on a table and it slides a little too easy for my liking. Almost like it has wheels.The case doesn't add much bulk to the phone and it fits in nicely. I haven't dropped the phone yet but the case seems to be one that can take care of drips. It is not the kind that attracts dust or lint. There is sufficient protection to the screen and the lens when placing it flat down on a surface. All buttons except for the ringer are easily accessible and covered by the inner shell. Accessing the ringer hasn't been much of a problem as the hole is sufficiently wide.However, there is a flaw in design when it comes to the bottom section - one of the speaker holes is covered by the inner shell.But other than that, it seems to be a good value for money product.

This is an excellent case, very slim and very strong. Protects the phone from any damage. Very easy to hold, looks like part of the phone.

Superb Item. But its getting dirty very soon. But Build quality is very good.
