TV ARRIVED BROKEN TWICE !!!!

I noticed when connecting it to my soundbar that the only digital output option is SPDIF (optical), which is obsolete. This option has lower bandwidth for audio channels which creates an AV delay. To make matters worse, the TV settings menu doesn't have an option to configure sound delay so you're really stuck with it. This might be why it was on sale for $300.

I really love this TV. When I first got it running I was a little disappointed in the picture, I thought it was too washed out. Then when I got into the settings I found many picture presets with lots of variations for each. If that doesn’t get exactly what you want, you can still go in and do as much tweaking as you like, one of the presets worked great for me. Personally I am staying away from the dynamic contrast setting.It also is the only TV I have been able to find that still has an analog output, in fact it has two. One is a line out, the other is headphone with level controlled by the TV volume. My old TV had analog out and I had a great sound system set up with my Amp and speakers. I was not looking forward to scrapping this or having to buy a digital to analog converter and or a sound bar and possibly having to add yet another remote control. The headphone output worked perfectly with my system.

TV arrived broken

TV was great for a year then started turning off unexpectedly and refusing to reboot. This happened several times, could be fixed with a long phone call with technicians, but then died completely after just two years. Service was no help. It's going to the trash. Do NOT buy.

After factory reset, it went to a reboot loop nonstop. Sharp or roku refused ro help. TV is only 1 year old. A TV made in 3 countries..US, China parts, Mexico labor..how do they talk to each other. The software could be all poorly engineered.

As far as the comment saying no HDMI out. Input HDMI1/ARC is the audio return channel. I can't respond to your comment Brandon but no tv has an HDMI out it uses the ARC to send audio to receiver/sound bar. The TV is great for the price. Picked it up for a good price during the 4th of July sale.
