Shiny yellow band for your ankles or biceps. Sold single, not as a pair.
They call this an "armband" but it fits perfectly around my ankle. You only get one to a package so if you want one for each ankle or one for each bicep, order 2. It's plastic. One side is plain white; the other side is reflective yellow. It's an inch and a half wide. It has Velcro style hook and loop strips to close the ends. For a secure connection, the band can make a circle between 3.5 and 5.25 inches in diameter.Jogalite makes a smaller band that is pretty good for wrists (which they call a "leg band" for some reason) that comes packaged as a pair if you want a reflective band that makes a smaller loop than this one. That one has a felt backing on the plastic; this one does not have felt even though someone wrote in their review that it does. I think they were talking about the leg band version. This one is just plastic, designed to fit over a shirt sleeve or a sock rather than make contact with raw skin.Reflectivity on this is pretty good, but I've seen better. It's better than nothing when you're biking or jogging at night though.

Everyone's looking at me
I have the feeling that everyone is looking at me when I'm wearing these at night. There's only one per package, so they ain't as cheap as they might seem. They are bright. Road workers and policeman eye me with envy and give me a nod of hail-fellow-well-met when I pass them at night. And yes, they are stiff and the velcro stitching is poorly done, but I surmounted these issues by adjusting them to the right size and then just slipping them on from that point forward - never un-fastening the velcro. Works for wearing them on your arms over your jacket. Probably not on your legs though unless your feet are abnormally small.

Be mindful of the plastic in colder temps.
This type of band is adequate but not the best. The band is made of plastic material which is fine until you use the product in cold temperatures as I have been. After about one week's use, the Velcro proved stronger than the plastic. The band tore, leaving me with a band that needs some clever repairs in order to stay put. I imagine this band works best if you're going to use them in more mild temperatures. If you're active in cold weather, however, be careful when pulling the Velcro because I can't help but think that the plastic material becomes that much more brittle the closer you get to freezing and below.I recently purchasedย PhantomFit Reflective Bands . They are elastic rather than plastic and you get two with your purchase. Hopefully, they work out better in the long run.

Work as designed
I walk very early in the morning, every morning, and have had a couple of close calls with vehicles. So I searched for reflected arm bands and thought I would give them a try. As it turns out I do like them and I ordered a second set. The only problem is getting them to stay put on my upper arms while walking. Other than that they do the job. Also remember to order two because they come one to a package (which I think is odd). One final comment....you don't need batteries! ๐

Longer than most leg bands, bright. Below average sewing
I bought this for both my arm and ankle (over sweats). This is 2 inches longer than any of the 3 different leg bands I purchased for bicycle riding. Fits nice around my biceps (which are a little larger than the average man),loose around my angles (unless I'm wearing sweat pants).Nice bright reflector. Good Velcro. Good materials. It would be 5 stars if the Velcro stitching was better; It is just a single thin thread that only goes 2/3 of the way to the edges.

Excellent product
We love these. We use them to walk our dogs on dark, sidewalkless roads. Comfortable. Large enough to use on lower legs too. My ONLY concern about this band is that the velcro sealed so well on one that it ripped away the band rather than release the velcro when I tried to remove it. I have been careful with them since and that was the only time it happened. I recommend this product.

Good, but a bit long
I wear these as ankle reflectors to keep my pants out of the spokes while I'm biking, but this band is a bit too long for this purpose. I've taken to tying the band in a knot instead of velcroing it, which works but is obviously not ideal. Decently bright, but made of somewhat flimsy material. I had one like this previously that was from the same company and was more sturdy material -- had hoped this was what I was ordering here, but this one seems to be a bit flimsier and much longer.

Armband for ankle use
I bought one of these to hold my dress pants in the mornings when I bike to work. The typical ankle bands are too short to overlap securely for my ankles, at least with pants on. These are slightly too long, but there is enough velcro to fasten securely. For the price, it does the job nicely.
