Rupse 7 inch 5.8G 8CH HD Monitor Built-in Lipo Battery Wireless AV Receiver all-in-one for FPV System (with the User Manual)

ordered this and yes it was just thrown in a box the small plastic window in the bottom right hand corner fell in and about 1 out of 30 times I turn it on it stays on. the screen flashes and will show a the camera image for a slight moment then turn off then back on then off then back on time and time again sounds like some parts are loose inside when you shake it you can hear small pieces of whatever inside moving around freely. waste of money and my time save your self the frustration and pay the extra cash for a decent one this one is total garbage. the one time it did work it was about 100 feet out and little waves started moving up the screen no range!!!!!! if only I had bought a more reliable one : (

i have the same gripes about this cheap monitor as the other reviewers, it was just thrown into a box with no padding, and no manual, not even a scrap of paper to confirm the dip switch settings. and yes the white tab was for the screen protector, which is applied obviously before they put the monitor in the plastic case as the edges are under the plastic. I guess my biggest complaint would be that the monitor will in fact go to a blue screen if signal is lost, it will show some snow with a weak signal and it does switch back pretty quickly when signal comes back.

This sure looks good on the add. It is junk. It came all sealed up. No manual, didn't work. I put it on the charger. Still didn't work. It just wouldn't even turn on. I emailed the distributor for a manual and the was a one sheet of paper the told me what the buttons were. No help at all. No Stars from. No service

PLEASE READ Before Purchasing. If your looking at purchasing this FPV Monitor because of the price point like I did you may be in for a rather big disappointment I just received the FPV Monitor for my DJI Phantom 2 and was totally blown away when I opened the box. First the monitor was just laid in the box with a torn plastic bag over it, honestly it didn't even look legitimate. No foam padding that you would be expecting to find enclosing any electronic device. Second, there was a rigid plastic tab stuck to the monitor in the bottom left corner of the screen. No reasonable explanation came to mind as to why that was there as it was looped through the bevel and within the monitor case itself. Third, the sun hood was half stuck to the monitor when I opened it. The seller should never be in the retail business to charge somebody a "New" retail price for this item which looked like something you may find at a swap - meet sale. Although, I have seen nicer used electronics sold at those places. I'm still just blown away at the total Brainless action of this whole thing. Be advised I'd you order from them your probably going to get the exact same unit they tried giving to me. They are probably just recycling it hoping someone would be blind and not see the condition.

No instructions with the monitor. Took about an hour to get anything on the screen, and when we did get a connection it was barely visible. Complete connection lost at about 30 feet. Unfortunately, we're outside the product return window or we'd send it back in a heartbeat. Don't waste your money.

I just bought this same monitor, and yes it was just thrown in a box, with no manual and yes it had a little white tab in the bottom left hand corner of the screen but that was for the screen protector. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and grab the white tab and removed the screen protector, looked just fine. Now lets set expectations here. This monitor is clearly from China and if you have been into quad copters and length of time you would know 99% of your stuff will come directly from China and or a distributor here in the states. Obviously this was from a distributor, with a mark up, because if you go look on other websites you can find it for cheaper. But then you have to ask yourself are you willing to wait for it to come from China and probably pay some kind of postage? And also not have Amazons 30 day return policy backing it up? All comes down to tradeoffs.Now for the real review - Does it work YES! was very nice has a 2s lipo integrated into it and a charge plug that will fit into your balanced charger. It is an all in one monitor/receiver which makes it nice. BUT, i will say the screen was not the brightest and no manual drops this product down one star.

Nice monitor lots off adjustment for view comes in Chinese might have to figure out language settings
