TempPro TempTrack Digital Meat Thermometer for Cooking and Grilling

This thermometer works really well. Very accurate. More options than you will need, like type of meat you are cooking, Temps for cooking levels, etc. But if you know the temp you want, this thing works well. Nice bright screen. A lot to like about this including the price.

This TempPro digital meat thermometer is super handy to have in the kitchen or for grilling. It gives quick readings in just a couple seconds, so you’re not standing there guessing if your food is done. The display is easy to read, even in low light, and the overall design feels simple and user-friendly. It’s also nice that it’s pretty accurate, so it takes the stress out of cooking meats like chicken or steak. Cleanup is easy too, especially with the waterproof design on many models. Definitely not anything fancy, but it’s reliable and does exactly what you need it to do.

As advertised, works

The oven in my apartment is only two years old, and has terrible temp issues, but the property manager won't replace it because it's so new. Like, it sometimes is 20° too hot and then other times is 70° too cold, without any rhyme or reason. Trying to cook anything in there has been hell. This sensor helps a lot. It of course isn't able to fix the issues with the oven, but it at least lets me see what temp it actually is in there, since the oven display lies and my analogue oven thermometer takes too long to adjust. I went ahead and bought the grill probe clips from the same brand and use those to mount the probe in the oven while cooking, to get ambient temp readings of the oven itself. I have to use two clips since the spacing of the oven rack is much wider than that of a standard grill rack, but it works great.

This has been an excellent thermometer. Use it all the time. The cable is nice and long, it has presets you can use, and the display is easy to read. However, I do wish it would let you change the sound because the alarm is LOUD. I haven't found a way to turn it down or off.

Product is easy to set up and it does exactly what it’s for. I loved seeing the exact temperature of my meat at every step of the process rather than guessing and having to remove the meat from the oven to check.

I bought this because I was learning how to grill a tomahawk steak. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I rarely use a meat thermometer on my outdoor gas grill. I consider bluetooth items but decided they weren't worth the extra money. This worked very well. It is quite accurate and simple to use. Because my wife prefers medium I had to cook the tomahawk to 160 degrees (I prefer medium rare). At 158 degrees I took the steak off the grill and it rose to 160 according to the thermometer. It was cooked perfectly medium - which is what the thermometer said would be medium. I am very pleased I bought this instead of overspending on a bluetooth one. Yes there is a wire that runs from the meat to the outside of the BBQ to the device which kind of gets in the way but is manageable. But there is a powerful magnet which lets you attach it to the outside of the BBQ almost anywhere. I'm pleased with it.
