Did not cook foods the way a griddle should have. Not hot enough.
It is good however my 1st time using was not what I expected when it came to grill or cook when it came to the heating and temperature. Just not hot enough to cook or Grill. You need it very hot to sizzling and it did not do it. It took too long and my food did not cook the way it should have so I'm returning it. I only used it 1 time and need a much more hotter one.

I love it!
Received missing two foot pegs. Anyone know where to order more? Haven’t tried using it yet, will update later.6/12/19 Update Ok, ok, shame on me, I found the foot pegs and now that I’ve had a chance to try it, I’ve updated my rating. I used to think there was nothing better than my gas stove, but WOW! I am impressed! This griddle fits so much food and cooks thoroughly from side to side and top to bottom. I initially bought it for my RV, but I’ve been using it in my house almost daily. Not only can I cook more food at one time (and cook it extremely well), but it doesn’t generate as much heat inside the house as the stove does which is good news now that the days are getting hotter and the bills are getting more expensive. I highly recommend this griddle, I just might get a second one!

Keep scrolling...nothing to buy here.
I have been using electric griddles for over a decade for breakfast exclusively. My family was tired of getting their pancakes and French toast one a time from the pan on the stove. For years we used a Bella griddle however after five years it went. A great value but was always an inch or two to short in the width. Recently, I bought the Caynel after seeing it had more width. After two months, I can say this is a horrible griddle. It over heats and burns close to the input device and the far end gets little to no heat at all. The middle is perfect but when accounting for the lack lust heat disbursement engineering, ie, using less on the edges, I actually have significantly less space. Until they fix this issue, DO NOT BUY!

good size griddle
I use this griddle to make breakfast, it has a real good size to hold everything i cook from pancakes to eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Clean up is very easy do to the removable legs, as i can put it in the sink yo wash off, and the non stick coating makes it quite quick to clean. Only drawback is the middle does not heat as well as the sides, but with a little shuffleing i can make it work to cook everything the way i want so that it all comes up done at the same time. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large griddle.

Works well
I ordered this because I make protein pancakes for breakfast. The surface area is huge. I can cook everything at once. It is a coil that goes underneath to heat the cooking surface, so it isn't entirely even. If it's towards the edge, it won't cook as fast. I expected that though. The handles come off super fast. It cleans up really easily as well.

Very poor heat distribution
Should read reviews more carefully. I like the design and the large non-stick surface is easy to clean, but the temperature varies wildly across the cooking surface. At the high end of the cooking range I set the temperature at about 400 degrees to cook bacon and the surface temperature measures 430 near the thermostat to 320 opposite the thermostat. This results in uneven cooking and requires rearranging items on the cooking surface to compensate. Eggs are a particular problem because flipping them near the thermostat means they can scorch very quickly. I would not recommend this product.

Plug burned, griddle burned, heats unevenly-disappointing
Horrible. I thought this would be a better griddle considering the size and price. I was sorely disappointed. The heating element does not distribute heat evenly. The side of the griddle that holds the plug burns everything including the griddle. The char marks cannot be cleaned without destroying the copper surface. All this, while the opposite end isn't hot enough to thoroughly cook food. The horizontal center of the griddle remains too cool also. So of 288 square inches (12x24), you end up with roughly 96 square inches of useable cooking space (approximate 1/3 of the griddle cooks properly). Now, after less than 20 uses, the plug is beginning to smell fried. This griddle draws 1700 watts of power, which is crazy. Likely why the plug and plug surface are burned.Skip this griddle. Just go to Wal-Mart and grab the Bella. It's a tad smaller, but entirely useable. It is a Wal-Mart sold product, so it won't last you forever. I used mine daily for solid 7 months before having issues though. For the price, it's definitely a better deal. And it holds 8 grilled cheese at once.As for the Caynel, I wish it had lived up to its expectation. The size of the griddle was really very promising for my large family. But alas, it couldn't do the job.

Good for price
I tested the temperature on the dial "420" and it read "360" on thermometer indoors, I know that maybe theres alot of things going into that. I cooked salmon and chicken thighs so far so good no issues. I did notice some areas "sizzle" more that others so you kinda have to hit the sweet spots. But honestly for the price and the cooking area I'm giving it 5 stars. The handles are easy to dismantle for easy cleaning and storage. And yes its non stick works perfect I cooked salmon and the skin stayed nice a crisp.
