American Standard 270CA001.020 Cadet 3 Elongated Two-Piece Toilet with 12-Inch Rough-In, White

It’s the best toilet I’ve ever owned , for the person who wished the toilet was an inch higher, just add a padded seat Bam their you go.The first thing I noticed is that since the flush valve Is 3” In diameter vs the old 2” valve this new toilet flushes much faster! Boy It justWorks Perfect. Also It was made In Mexico, a quality product, Thank You.

Toilet was installed by a plumber. No problems, no complaints, and plumber was ok with it, even tho' he likes Toto.The Toto elongated plastic seat from our (Eljer--ugh!) toilet was in good condition, transferred to new. It fit nicely. Prefer Toto SS114 plastic softclose over the wood seat that American Standard offers, but it costs more if you don't already have one. :-)

Arrived well packaged in double cartons. All the accessory parts for a proper installation were inside. I installed quite nicely and without a hitch. Looks very good (for a toilet). The flush is great. After a month, we haven't had a single bad flush. Water consumption is quite low, push the flush and it's all over a just a few seconds. I will buy this exact model for my next toilet swap. Very pleased.

Works like a crapper should, I’d definitely buy again.. Comes with everything ya need except water...

These are great flushing units, better than the over hyped TOTO brand which was always stopping up and replaced buy a A/S Cadet. I prefer the ADA right height, but smaller people will be happy with the 15 inch height . So far 0ver 1 year of great flushing. I hate to see people badmouth products that are not bad. I do admit that the specs are not clear on this advertised unit. It is only a standard height seat.

I bought 2 of these for bathroom remodels, product delivered was different model (3717c001.020) with different physical attributes than the model descriped in the listing (bowl height of delivered product is shorter than the dimensions listed here and at manufacturer's site)

I have had this toilet for 8 months now. Just removed it from service and threw it in the garbage. I have had 3 different plumbers service the toilet, in spite of a perfect installation, the tank on this toilet is always loose, leaks, and the toilet seats have to constantly be tightened. Last time I buy an American Standard anything. I can't believe they sell their name & reputation out by putting out such a crappy product, and I do mean that literally. I just bought another Briggs toilet to replace the American Standard. Buying the American Standard was a very bad idea, should have stuck with old reliable.
