Please tell me about the sound quality.  Is any frequency range overbearing (lows, mids, highs)?  How does it handle the vocal range on digital tracks

You can't get a really low, personal sound. Something about it doesn't allow for only one room to hear it. It's fantastic at being loud  but after you try and go as far as it'll allow, it gets fuzzy and muffled. The lows, mids and highs on this thing are garbage. The button to change the settings is wonky at beat and the overall plastic on this design is flimsy and generic. The first one had more appeal when you could put the iPhone in it. The bluetooth is nice but whatever, I'd rather just use a jack. It doesn't get played much in my house because I can't play it at a low enough without bothering anyone else. If I try and turn it up, you can't here the lyrics and the music sounds horrible. I should have written something sooner but I am a merchant marine and I am gone a lot. When I'm home I try to stay active and worry about things I can change now. I wouldn't give this stereo, boombox, ghetto blaster another thought if I saw it in a store. I just go with what I know.

When I received the actual product it was not the colorful good looking boombox. I received the flat black one. At it's not metal, it's all plastic and stickers.
