Not bad but not great
Well, we got this because one channel, channel 13 doesn't work so well near us. The Seahawks games are often on it. So we swapped out an HD antenna I've had for about 5 years with this one given they talk it up great in the video. But it has the same picture quality and not the whole host of channels we'd assume we would get. We sit on top of West Seattle so we figured being up high would benefit it for connecting to towers. I guess that's not the case. We'll keep it for now but really the other one worked just as well with less cordage and this one has a bright white light shining on it and it is high on the wall behind the TV - very visible. That might be enough of a reason to not get it right there - having it wall mounted with the cord spiraling down is already ugly but having the white light showcase the fact it's there just adds to the oddness of it. There's cheaper alternatives so you might want to read up on them. This company had good marketing which lured me in. As for the Hawks games, we get them better with the other HD antenna which cost me around $20 and you don't have to play around with 7 channel-like selections when setting it up.

I got more channels than Mohu antenna
I just like Channel Master antenna because i have more channels . To me, the Mohu antenna is good but it does not give enough channels. The locations of the antenna is very important , i live in tall building and this is a advantage . Also, I just follow the instructions to move the antenna as high as possible in a room and , also, have the antenna close to the window or on the window. This is my own experience , other people have different experience than me. Well wishes to all.

Better than Best Buy Terk, & Mohu
Reception depends on what is blocking your signal. All receiving stations are south of me. I face north in an apartment building. I am able to receive 5 channels on average. You have to rescan channels periodically. Small inconvenience to eliminate cable bill.

Save your money, buy the good one first
Tried two other, cheaper, flat indoor antennas. Worked fine then started pixilating. Reposition, fine for a few days. Terrible if you have your dvr set to record a show and it records a mess. The channel master actually works. Easy setup. There is an lemon the antenna that is bright and cannot be turned off, according to channel master. They suggest putting a piece of tape over it. crude but works

Not Worth The Price
I bought this to replace one of those $20 flat square antennas. It actually performed worse. I bought based on the Channel Master name and was pretty disappointed in what I got for my money. This is going back in the box and I'm going back to my cheap antenna.

Surprised
I’m 20 miles south of Charlotte and I live in a low area. I was concerned that trees and hills would hinder the reception. I set the thing on top of the molding above my north facing window. This antenna pulls in 39 channels!!! And they’re all crystal clear. I’m a happy camper.

bad quality
I liked that it was easy to install, but the buttons on the bottom of the device were really hard to understand and were not laid out nicely. It would not auto tone the channels and the picture kept cutting in and out and I moved it multiple times but could not get it to keep the bars.

Doesn't do what is advertised
In my area I have a Hi-VHF channel that this antenna is supposed to get but doesn't. I have tried many different locations and the reception is not acceptable. According to Channel Master's website, this is the recommended antenna for best performance. The other UHF channels are hit or miss.
