Mixed 7 and 8 to get what I want
I don't like the color choice. There's really no good color between #7 and #8. 7 is too dark and 8 is too light. If you continuously do 7, your hair will get darker and darker. If you do just 8, it is too light and my white hair comes out too fast.I bought this 7G and 8, and I mixed half and half. It worked very well. It's easy to mix because you are squeezing the color into the developer. The color comes in tubes so it's easy to squeeze half and save half. It stays OK until the next time because it's in a tube. It's easy to apply, has no odor, and worked in 25 minutes.* I write reviews to let you know how this product was for me. and to aid you in making your decision, to buy or not buy.

Good color
I like the 7G. It fades with time and becomes 8G by the time I need to use it again. The 8G, that I used in the past, was really faded away by that time. It does have smell of ammonia during coloring, however it does not destroy my hair. In my opinion it is better for hair than so called "natural" herbal products.

Smells good
I only applied it a week ago. Not sure about longevity yet. The only issue was that it turned my light brown hair more reddish than dark blonde. But it's a pretty color anyhow.

Great to use during Covid
Worked great while salons are closed. I am very gray. So I left on longer. That helped to cover the gray so much better. Also it didn’t reck my color from the salon. I did have someone put it on for me but she said it was easy. To mix it is also super easy.

Excellent, effective, easy
Excellent product. Easy to use. Good color. Huge cost saving, yet almost as good as salon. Would have given 5 stars, but for Clairol Root touch up, which is easier and only a tad less attractive.
