Sleek Makeup - Highly Pigmented and Long-Wearing I-Divine Mineral Based Eyeshadow Palette - Au Naturel

Amazing eyeshadow set! Having sold high-end makeup & skincare in the past, I'm pretty spoiled when it comes to wanting only high-end products. But when I couldn't find much in the way of matte, dark eyeshadows in my go-to line of Jane Iredale, I found this palette and I'm THRILLED with it!PROS:- Colors are neutral warm colors that flatter any skin tone- Rich pigments - a little goes a long way (which is an amazing value!)- Blends well even with inexpensive, synthetic hair brushes (real hair brushes cost more but make it blend even better!)- Palette design / style looks expensive (I told you I'm a snob)CONS:- Crappy sponge-tip applicator globs on pigment and makes blending nearly impossible- Lightest colors are not very pigmented (takes more of the product to make it show up)Totally a great eyeshadow set and I'll buy more when I need to. The palette is about the size of a cell phone, so easily fits in your purse and has it's own mirror, which is great for touch-ups.APPLICATION TIPS:1.) For longer wear, I use an eyelid primer (SHANY Eye and Lip Primer/Base, Paraben/Talc Free, Waterproof) that only takes a tiny dab - a fingerprint - and then apply eyeshadow.2.) To pack on the pigment, I use this brush (jane iredale Eye Contour Brush)3.) To layer another color, I use this brush (jane iredale Deluxe Shader Brush, 0.13 oz.)4.) And to blend them together, I use these cheapies (Pro Blending Brush Set - Smoky Eye Shadow Contour Kit - 4 Essential Shapes - Best Choice Crease, All Over Shader, Tapered, Soft Blender - For Shading & Blending of Eyeshadow Cream Powder Highlighter)Great eyeshadow palette for the price & I highly recommend, especially for 30-somethings or more mature women. The matte colors keep from accentuating fine lines & wrinkles, but the few sparkles in this set allow you to highlight only were the skin is smooth. Makes for a great look and lots of application options to play with!

I really like using gold or natural colored palettes and I was in the market for a different brand, so after asking others about their favorite brands, I ended up trying Sleek. I had heard so many good things about Sleek, I was really excited to get this palette.The people who recommended this palette were right. Its fantastic. It has a mix of matte and shimmers and while the palette itself is small, the variety of shadows is not. The pigment of the shadows are great and the shadows themselves are very buildable AND blendable. I did notice that initially they seems a bit chalky and I had to make sure to clean up any shadow that fell on my cheeks after applying it. The chalkiness isn't a problem anymore and unless I go heavy with shadow on a brush, I don't see much if any residue on my cheeks. It might have just been user error on my part since it was my first experience with this brand.The colors are gorgeous and while the palette is on the small side, I think the shadows will last a while because of the great pigmentation. Like some of the other reviewers, I also use an eyeshadow primer. I ALWAYS use an eyeshadow primer when I am wearing shadow because it keeps my shadow on, looking fresh and helps keep it from creasing.

They aren't as good as the blush and contour palettes I've bought in the past. They are still fairly decent, medium pigmentation, but the fact that they contain parabens and paraffins are a big problem. These eyeshadows have the potential to be really great, but for the price they are an ok deal if only they would lose the unsafe ingredients

I'm a professional makeup artist from New York City, so for me, it's imperative that I carry both high-end and mid-level cosmetics, as it helps me adjust to the client's budget. After seeing the positive reviews for this palette, I gave it a try, thinking that, at best, I wouldn't have spent very much if it goes bust.Those positive reviews are solid.Not only is this palette "sleek" and high-end looking (It looks a lot like my Smashbox palette that came with just 4 colors and cost twice as much), but the eyeshadows are a decent size with delightful pigment. I tried them on myself first (I always do) and I honestly have no complaints. The colors are rich, they blended well, and I won't have any problem using them on a client.The only drawback, if any, is that it came with a double-ended sponge-tip applicator and not a brush. However, any regular makeup user probably owns a set of brushes already, so this isn't a big deal.Good product for the price.

I really like this product. As others have claimed, yes the colors are very "pigminted" meaning that you don't need a lot of powder to distribute the eyeshadow. I have doubled the brown matted eyeshadow as an eyebrow powder a few times. It works really well since, again, it's so pigmented. However, a couple drawbacks to consider: 1) The lighter colors are NOT very pigmented. The lighter colors are almost useless to me. However, there ARE lighter colors that have this shimmer/sheen to them that are very beautiful and show very well, but the lighter, matted ones- forget it; they're useless to me. 2) My biggest pet peeve of any makeup product is when the hinge breaks off from the backing of the product. In other words, the plastic broke off from the back, and now I have to manually assemble the top and bottom pieces together. Very annoying. I don't think I'm rough with my items, but I'd say that this problem occurs with 4/5 products I buy.

Como suele ser habitual en las paletas de Sleek se trata de unas sobras de gran calidad. Tienen una pigmentación increíble. No sé si es por la luz pero los colores no son exactamente como se ven en la imagen por eso adjunto una foto. Por ejemplo el tono TAUPE que es el último de la fila de arriba se ve plateado y en realidad es dorado. En general, todos los colores son más cálidos de lo que se ve en la foto pero la verdad es que me gustan más así. Son bastante cremosos y se manejan muy bien. En concreto, las sombras de esta paleta son muy versátiles y tienen unos tonos que combinan muy bien entre ellos y que están pensados para maquillajes más discretos o maquillajes de diario. Me parece especialmente bonito el segundo tono empezando por la izquierda en la fila de arriba (NUBUCK) que está a medio camino entre gris y marrón. Tres de las sombras son con brillo, hay una cuarta que también tiene brillo pero algo menos que las anteriores. El resto son completamente mate. La paleta viene con un aplicador para las sombras de dos puntas y tiene también un gran espejo que ocupa toda la tapa. Por el precio que tiene es una paleta excelente, especialmente si buscas una paleta con tonos básicos o te estas iniciando en el mundo del maquillaje.

Ho acquistato la palette “Au Naturel” e posso ritenermi abbastanza soddisfatta di questo prodotto.La trousse ha un packaging essenziale e arriva confezionata in un una scatolina che mostra le preview dei colori (vedi foto 1). Le cialde sono 12, di cui otto di consistenza matte e tre di consistenza shimmer; è incluso un applicatore con spugnetta triangolare su entrambe le estremità.La gamma cromatica degli ombretti spazia dal bianco, nero, toni nude e verdi/bordeaux.I colori matte chiari non scrivono tantissimo: come potete vedere nelle foto alcune di queste tonalità si notano appena, e posso garantire di avere dato tre/quattro passate. Io consiglio di usarli come primer per altri ombretti che scrivono di più, oppure da soli per un effetto di trucco-non trucco. Decisamente meglio i colori scuri, soprattutto quelli shimmer che oltre a scrivere tanto sono super translucenti.La durata sulla palpebra è generalmente buona, ma comunque legata al colore e a quanto questo scrive. Se dovete truccarvi per un’occasione speciale allora non ci sono problemi di durata del make up, ma se usate la palette magari per stare tutto il giorno fuori casa dovrete dare sicuramente una ritoccata.La consegna è puntuale e il pacco arriva imballato in una busta di cartone. Il prodotto mi è arrivato integro e non mi sembra fosse stato utilizzato in precedenza.In generale, la valutazione che dò a questo prodotto è positiva, e mi sento di consigliarlo soprattutto per un utilizzo non professionale.

Bonita paleta de colores. Venía muy bien envuelto. Por o que me llegó perfectamente. Las sombras quedan muy bien. Muy satisfecha con la compra.
