Romanoff Caviar Black Lumpfish, 2 oz, Whole

This is not top-of-the-line caviar, and it doesn't pretend to be. But for what it is, it's quite good, and the price is very attractive. I do find it quite salty, but most caviar is rather salty - I suppose people are correct when they say it's an acquired taste. I use this as a garnish on deviled eggs - satisfying and high in protein. I've been buying this brand for years, as it's an acceptable alternative to the much more expensive brands. I still do occasionally get the fancy stuff, but I really do find this perfectly acceptable for everyday fare.

The only thing that comes to Mind right now is “ OHHHH WOWWWW “ this Caviar tastes so good , it is fresh and just enough Salty and the Quality is Great and yes the Price is GREAT as well . It was totally Sealed , If you have a small Gathering or a Dinner Party get this Caviar People will think you are serving a very , very Expensive Caviar . I also got me a pack of the French Mini Pancakes , they are for Hors d’oeuvres and oh yes Caviar which I used my Caviar on . I Recommend this Caviar for yourself or as a Gift Idea for your Friends and like I said Small Get Together’s or as Hors d’oeuvres at your next Dinner Party

I will NEVER buy Romanoff Caviar Black Lumpfish again. The pearls aren't black, they're green. There's a watery bottom in the jar - green, of course. And while this was always salty it now is unpleasantly, overly, salty. And I am a person who likes salt! This used to be a good, cheap caviar product - the pearls were black, there was no watery bottom and the saltiness was acceptable. The product has changed and very much for the worse. Buyer beware.

I purchased the mini toasts from Dollar Tree (because the carb count is low), and spread some cream cheese on them and topped them with this caviar. It was a good little snack! Very salty, but that's caviar. I want to try the salmon roe next! I love salmon roe! These were very tiny and got stuck in my teeth... Lol

It isn't Christmas without caviar, but Arkansas doesn't seem to stock the stuff. Amazon to the rescue! Price is reasonable and, since it comes with two portions, I can splurge at Thanksgiving as well. Nice, briny taste and pleasantly firm texture.

I'm pregnant, and I don't know why, but for some strange reason, I woke up caviar cabaret even though I've never tried it in my life, hahaha... it's good, just a little salty for my taste, but it's worth it, it's very cheap.

I’m shocked! I like this better than the $150 brands! Yummy I’m so happy I can afford to eat caviar more often now. Thank you!
