Okay, I read all the reviews of this item and I felt I should get on here and negate the people that gave this 1 stars. The people that compared this to the dock a tot and said it was terrible probably had a dock a tot to start with and realized this isn’t as amazing. Which they are right, it’s not - but it’s also not 5 bazillion dollars (no offense dock a tot, but seriously, why are you $200???). But this product does do the job of a dock a tot just as well! My product didn’t stink when I got it, I mean it had like a plasticky smell, because it’s zipped up in plastic, but it goes away. It was not difficult to assemble, and the people that say it is, clearly did not follow the directions. It took me like 5 minutes tops to put it together. I was able to transfer my sleeping baby into it from my make shift pillow bed in her pack and play and then put her and the baby lounger back in the pack in play and she is still sound asleep 🙌🙌🙌 I know this product will help her sleep! She’s also wearing the Nested Bean Zen Sack, which I think help’s too! Right now my baby is 5 months, but I wish I would have started her in this as a newborn. I hope you decide to get this product and not buy a dock and tot instead! Two thumbs wayyyyy up! Get some sleep momma!

I'm here to dispute the dockatot schmockatot reviewers. Yes this item has a similar shape but that is where the similarities end. I have a dockatot but since they don't travel well I ordered this bed to our hotel for vacation. I'm a mother of three and I can honestly say that this device led to the worst nights of sleep I've ever imagined. The dockatot is superior in ways you can't imagine. This bed doesn't snuggle your baby or make them feel secure (definitely not "womb like") it's too wide to do that. Second, the bumper isn't high enough (the circumference is less). I don't know what sort of 9-12 month old is using this but it certainly can't be used past 3.5/4 months since the bumper is so low - your baby will roll right out of it. So, definitely don't slap this in your bed if you could be a heavy sleeper! Third, the fabric quality of the dockatot is higher - slightly thick, this product has perfectly fine fabric but the difference is noticeable.

Best thing ever! We had a dock a tot deluxe with our first child and it was amazing but SO expensive. Having a toddler already, we couldn't afford another dock a tot with our newest baby so we tried to just go old fashioned and not use anything. Swaddles do help a lot, but even swaddling and put her to bed in her bassinet wasn't working great, she was waking all night just wanting to be held. I immediately went on the search for a dock a tot substitute and was so excited to find this one! I got it the next day and she was sleeping better from the first night she used it. It's just like the dock a tot, only more affordable for parents! We really love it, and so does our daughter, she feels secure sleeping in her bassinet and and has some room to grow into it when we move it to her crib eventually. Don't even wonder if you need to buy this, you do. If I had known they made these affordable in comparison to the dock a tot, I would have bought it months ago!

I like the color and pattern of this pillow. It seems to be reversible which is nice. It fits perfect in my vintage bassinet. I didn't like that the bumper and mattress were vacuum-packed - the mattress has a bump in it still after 3 days. Yes, I would say there was a smell but I washed the cover and its gone. The mattress also had some type of dust stain on it. I cleaned it off the best I could because I didn't want to take the time to return. The bumpers were a little difficult to put in and make sure the seams were even but it's fine. Overall I think its great - you get what you pay for. Way better than paying the price of a dockatot.

This thing was an absolute lifesaver for this sleep-deprived mama, especially during those first two months... I swear it's the only reason we got any sleep! Now 3 months later, 25" long, we're still using it, he still fits and sleeps through the night. It's a little difficult to take apart after the third or fourth time to wash it when it would get dirty because it started to feel more delicate around the zipper as if it would possibly rip so we started putting a changing pad fitted on top of it for him to lie on so we wouldn't have to wash it as often and it worked great. For the cost I honestly couldn't be happier with this product. I'm glad I didn't dish out the money for the more expensive dockatot, this worked perfect. I'm very very happy with this purchase. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends if not getting it for them as baby gifts.

I wanted one of the big brand of these but they were just too expensive for what it was. I found this one on Amazon and loved the pattern and it was a great deal. I’m so happy I didn’t spend the almost 200$ on the other. My friend has the expensive baby lounger and we both agreed that this one is just as good for 1/4 the price. The pattern is adorable, very soft, and best of all removable so that it can be easily washed. It’s actually a lot bigger then I thought which is great because baby will be able to grow with it for a long time. The padding is so comfortable. I told my husband I would honestly buy one of them in my size if someone would make them. This was one of my favorite baby items I got myself and even though I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, it’s been the thing I’ve used the most. I thought it would be great to take to a friend or family members house so that I have a place to lay him and that’s why I originally got it but I have used it everyday probably almost all day since I got it. I just swaddle him and he just seems so content and comfortable while I get my house work done or he lays right beside me while I’m watching tv. I also bring it in the bathroom with me so that I can keep an eye out on him while I’m showering.Another thing I forgot to mention. When it first came in I washed the cover and have had to wash it twice since due to accidents but it has held up well in the wash.I recommend everyone put this on their baby shower list because it’s honestly something you will use a lot more then you think. I love how portable and easy it is.
