Be aware - my experience/ see #2
I purchased one of these units because I wanted to hook two 4K generators together and power a 7500-watt generator switch on my house for power outages. I have purchased several generators from Amazon previously. This unit was delivered, filled with oil and gas, and started to check idle voltage levels as with any new gas-powered generator. While looking at the gauge, I noticed a steady stream of oil pouring from under the unit while running. Immediate shutdown. The oil I used was 20-40 wt and I thought maybe it wants 30 wt. Added B&S 30 wt oil and restarted. Same thing. Oil leaked all over the floor. Checked unit from top to bottom to look for leaks. Now, this is not my first rodeo with generators and electricity. In both the USMC and USA, I would set up and connect up to twenty 20Kw diesel generators to power a field installation HVAC, radios, and sensitive equipment. While working at Sara Lee, we would take 5480 Kw incoming and split it into 880, 440, and 220 to power various production machines and ovens. This unit had a problem and I wanted to return or exchange it. To begin with, the guarantee I had purchased with the unit for $44 was void because, after the fact, it did not cover generators and my $44 was refunded. Checked with the company that sold it. I could send it back if I wanted to pay $400 FedEx return shipping. Checked with Amazon A to Z coverage ( I had the unit less than a week) and it was denied. Well... so I am SB and T and stuck with a $299.95 boat anchor. I will probably strip the defective engine from the Extreme unit and repower it with a 5-hp Predator engine from Harbor Freight or find a B&S horizontal shaft engine and adapt it. I did find both a used Wacker 5600w and a MultiQuip 6000w industrial Honda units to power my switch and will go with these and just pick up and go on. But, be aware.Update 7-23-22After everyone had played hot potato with returning this unit, the company got with me several weeks later and sent me a real FedEx return label. I sent the unit back and they credited the full purchase price. i These units look good, are a handy size and wattage and I am very glad most people are having good luck with their generators. I suspect, judging by the box condition, that my unit was dropped or otherwise damaged causing it to leak oil. Don't purchase a protection plan and deal with the company directly if you have problems with your unit.

Fuel fill rate
I've used generators off and on for decades. The size of the fill cap is misleading. The size of the fill port is an issue. To add to that issue, the screen further restricts the fill port. The plastic fill to here tab across the fill port further restricts the flow of fuel. You have to be extremely patient, or have a gas can with a very forgiving flow tube. Probably both would be best. Be prepared for spilled fuel.On a different, but moderately serious subject. When you're standing in front of the exhaust port, it rattles like a baby rattle on steroids. When you're standing on the electric panel side, you only hear the generator noise. In short, the muffler sucks. On a positive note, I was using it at around 7500' elevation. It ran well (turned the oil very very brown in 20ish hours of run time), and had no real issues with a pole saw, or the space heater I was using. One heater I had going was kind of feeble, but the generator ran about 12 hours. The other heater I had with me was more robust, and the generator still ran for over 10 hours. It does like to "flood". I had to turn it to run, shut the fuel off, and set the choke to full, to get it to go after the second day. I had forgotten to shut the fuel off when I shut it off. 4KW seems like over kill, and at sea level, it probably is. But, at the higher elevations, it was needful.Even if it was rather loud. I haven't looked in to replacing the muffler (would probably void any warranties) with one that would mate up to the exhaust port, but is kinder to the ears. The exhaust port looks to be fairly standard, so it would just be finding one with a similar form factor, flow rate, but better noise performance. Ha. Just.

Arrived with broken Motor mount |Spark Plug boot broken |Update
Update: Seller wanted me to ship the unit back and I refused as we were in the middle of hurricane season. I figured if it ran in an emergency that would get us through. Around December of 2020 I took it out of the garage to start it after ensuring I had added a fuel stabilizer. The spark plug boot just crumbled when I checked it as it wouldn't start.Today is March 1st 2021. I replaced the spark plug boot as soon as the new one arrived today. I am updating my rating to 3 stars now as BELIEVE it Or NOT, it started on the first pull and I ran it for about 30 minutes with a large fan connected. I was shocked at how it started right up and got working. I'm only out $7 bucks so far for a new spark plug boot and I can get the engine mount repaired at a local welding shop. Not too shabby. Will update again after usage. Finally unpacked this unit. Motor mount broken upon arrival and loose bolts requiring tightening. Engine runs perfect. No other complaints. But I expect I cant return due to having fuel in it and it's not worth the time. Will email seller and write additional comments later.

Broken but things happen, just hope it's replaced without any hassle!!!
Just got it today, opened it up and was ready to attach my wheels I bought for it and noticed the motor mount was broken. Have not put fuel in it yet so have no idea how or if it runs. Was excited to have it. Now I hope customer service will make this right for me....

Perfect for outside party....
I used it for my daughters party. It was easy to move, and was able to run two bouncy houses for 7 hours. It was not too loud and got the job done. They did send me the wrong wheel kit, but everything else was great. It was very easy to work started right up with one pull.
