Bought this item from Sotel as a repeater for our FritzBox router as we didn't want to have to pay an indefinite monthly fee for getting the same item through Zen. So far so good, everything working well. The item has a European plug as standard but Sotel kindly shipped it with a UK plug adapter and it works perfectly. Far cheaper in the long run to buy it from Sotel! Shipping was obviously a bit longer than the usual quick delivery on Amazon Prime as it ships from Germany but as we weren't in a hurry this was fine with us. The item arrived within around a week anyway. This is the second time I've ordered from Sotel and I'd definitely buy from them again.

Got a Fritz router from Zen, wasn't getting great signal in the back of the house (WiFi had so go though an old external wall). Put the repeater at the stop of the stairs and its sorted the signal for the back of the house.Works better than our old Powerline adaptors.Super easy to setup as both products are Fritz - I think you just press one button on the modem and one on the repeater and it sorts out the rest.Not sure how this would work with other brands.

Well, to be truthful I went for the prime version on the web page, but when it was delivered it was a German Version.German plug, German instructions! But never mind I thought that would try it, as I have come across this problem before.I had a 13mp plug that takes a euro 2 pin plug.But the instructions are German, so got Fritzbox Uk on the computer and there are the instructions on their web site to download.I had been a bit worried if it would work as easy as say in the instructions, I didnt need to worry, if you follow the easy instructions to the letter it connects straight away as I have a Fritzbox Router. Time will tell, but it seems faultless at present, wish I hadn't spent a small fortune on wifi extender plugs in the past.

Great product that works well. Unfortunately it arrived with a European plug and no adaptor. The instructions are all in German. I have accessed the system via my laptop and cannot work out how to change language settings. This is very frustrating as using Google Translate is a chore. One good feature is that you can turn off the lights on it so you don’t have them disturbing your sleep. I wish other products could do that. You will need to understand German though if you want to work out how to turn them off!

It is a German product and as such, the internal interface is unfortunately German only. Perhaps if enough people purchase it outside of Germany, they might make the interface available in English. You can however go to their website and get the instructions in English.As far as the functionality is concerned, it is the best I have ever encountered. Particularly when used in conjunction with a FritzBox Router. (I'm using the 7530). It is fully transparent, pumps up a really strong signal on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz so we have the entire garden covered from inside one of the bedrooms. The router is at the opposite end of the house giving us solid coverage everywhere. Speed is fantastic. The price is a tad on the high side but you get your money's worth. Highly recommendable.

Item is only sold in EU, but if you get it from sotel they supply a UK plug. Works great with my FritzBox! Router and you literally have to press two buttons to get this thing working (one on the router and one on the repeater to connect). Use the FritzBox! WLAN app to find the best place to put it (gives you real-time WiFi signal strength, so you can find the black spots), and you're off to the races! I put mine upstairs on the opposite side of the house and now I have 5GHz all around. Cheaper than getting this through my broadband provider too :).

Excellent mesh range extender. I use it in conjunction with my Fritzbox 7530 RL router. Plug it in, press the WPS button on both devices and within a few seconds the two form a single extended network. I get the same speed with the extender as with the main router and the two Ethernet ports allow other non-wifi products to connect. Very pleased with both the router and the extender.

Ne ho comprato prima uno, poi dopo un anno di utilizzo ne ho preso un altro. Ho collegato tutta la domotica di casa e parliamo di qualche centinaio di dispositivi. Mai avuto problemi e la doppia porta ethernet sul retro è una grande comodità, può funzionare come switch di rete.I 2 repeater ed il router sono collegati via cavo ma possono funzionare anche con ponte radio proprietario Fritz, ovviamente il router deve essere Fritz.Tutta la rete wifi è mesh.
