Excellent high flow fan!
I originally bought the ThermalRight True Spirit 140 B/W and then bought a 2nd TY-147A for it. It did well, but my FX-8350 was definitely staying warmer than I wanted. I switched to a single one of these TY-143 and the noise difference was the same at the same RPM as the old fans, but had headroom to push more air when needed.

Superb static pressure at low rpm, but has 120mm mounting holes
Before buying these fans, make sure your case has at least 20mm spacing between two 120mm fan mounting points. My Corsair Carbide Air 740 case did not have adequate spacing. As you see in the pictures I was able to improvise with some paper clips, but it's not ideal and time consuming. Also, the fan on the left had around 200rpm lower speed than the one on the right for the same pwm signal, so there may be some qc issues. With that said, this is the best 140mm fan for low rpm and high static pressure. At 100% it is quite irritating to hear, but if you need the fan at 100% then you probably need a bigger heatsink or radiator. It is definitely not as quiet as the Noctua nf-a15s on my NH-D15, but considering that I only run the fans at 40%, noise from these fans isn't an issue. These fans at 40% dropped my VRM temperatures 5 degrees! If only I had a 12 core to test my x370 vrms...😏

Great fan, outstanding service!
The fan behaves as I expected it to. Quiet enough at low RPM that I can't hear it over my power supply (SFX Gold/Modular Silverstone), and insane at full speed. What blew me away (Get it?! sorry.) was their customer service. When I was having trouble with the fan not spinning at low PWM settings, they dug deep into the errata of my motherboard (ASRock Z77-ITX) on forums that I hadn't found and discovered that the chassis fan is actually a voltage regulation circuit despite being 4-pin. Moving the fan to the CPU header fixed the problem.I wish my power supply fan was quieter so I could judge if this fan is "silent", but as it stands all I can say is that it is quieter than my power supply.

Good fan, but has issues
I already have a pair of these TY-143 fans that I got a few years ago from some other seller. They work so well that as soon as Amazon had them in stock I decided to get some more. Got the fans a few days ago and I noticed some differences. The sticker on the hub has a slight change in color for the logo; I guess TR updated their look or something. Superficial and not a big deal. However, what is different is that these new fans seem to have a different PWM curve than the ones I already have. The ones I just got from Amazon have the following PWM curve (tested on a AM4 Gaming K7 board): 200 rpm at 30%, 1300 at 60%, 2400-2470 at 100%. Both of the older ones I have: 600 rpm at 20%, 1500 rpm at 60%, 2400-2480 rpm at 100%. The official specs quote a rpm range of 600-2500 rpm with the usual 10% variance. The older fans are within spec but the new ones are obviously not, unless TR changed something with the fans and have not updated the listed specifications. The rpm response with PWM does not seem to be as linear and smooth in comparison. These new fans also have louder bearing noises and loud hums at high rpm (in short, they are louder than my the older fans). So either I got some fans from a faulty production run or TR simply changed something. I will keep them, since international shipping will cost more than the fans, and they are still great fans. However, I have to dock one star due to the, in my opinion, drop in quality.

The fan i have been looking for
I tried out a few fans for my rig but was not satisfied with the results. I decided to take a gamble on these after reading some reviews. These are perfect intake fan for my 24/7 4.8 closed loop liquid cooling setup.

Pro: Pushes a ton of air PWM Cons: ...
Pro:Pushes a ton of airPWMCons:VERY LOUD120mm mounting holes, but will not fit in 120mm fan spaces. The fan protrudes out at the bottom.Ugly color, I do not know what kind of build would use bright orange and maroon.

Great Performance
I bought this fan to be the 3rd fan on a Silver Arrow CB-E Extreme. Performance-wise, they are superb, but the noise they produce is something you wont be able to ignore (when they are running at 100%). I use a sunbeam tech fan controller that makes the noise bearable, however, if you want performance without any compromise, they are among the best options.

Largest PWM computer fans I could find.
These cool the instrument rack part of my electronics workbench. Four of them.Being PWM, you can easily control these with an arduino. Fairly quiet too.

Superb airflow, excellent price
I got two of these beauties for balanced airflow through my Antec Sonata mid-tower case. At their full speed of around 2450 rpm my PC sounds like an aircraft is taking off! The blast of air out the back of the case is impressive.I've been running them on voltage control using ASUS FanXpert, and at idle they sit at around 900rpm. While not whisper quiet, the gentle burble it produces is quite unobtrusive; the PC sits under my desk. With the AMD FX-3850 processor and Noctua NH-D14 the whole setup works brilliantly. When I push the processor hard - overclocked to 4.5GHz transcoding video - the fans set to run up to around half-speed and while audible they're still not loud by any means, and cooling is excellent. Specifically, they keep very good airflow over the hard disks (x3), video card and motherboard and the whole thing runs remarkably cool.Although they're PWM fans, my motherboard only has PWM for the CPU fan; it uses voltage control for the system fans. (At some point I intend to connect them to the CPU fan socket - the CPU fans aren't PWM - but I need to make up a 2-into-1 adapter lead first.)These fans are very good indeed for the price (I paid £14 for the two, free postage). If you can fit these oversize fans in your case, then I can definitely recommend them over 120mm versions. If you want a silent system, though, look elsewhere; Noctua fans will be quieter, for example, but they'll also be twice the price. And these fans offer higher cooling performance if you don't mind the noise.
