Acana Pacifica Cat Food 5 Lb (New Formula)

The kitties love this - even the finicky cat. The reason I docked this a star is because the kibble size is ridiculous for cats--it looked like large dog food. Unfortunately, we have a kitty with an autoimmune disorder - stomatitis and eating this kibble is not possible unless I break up the pieces. Shame on the makers for not thinking this through...MAKE SMALLER KIBBLE WHEN MANUFACTURING FOR CATS. (It makes me wonder whether this is dog food, charged at a cat food price.)

I got this food for my sphynx cat who has a sensitive stomach. It's a very pricey food but you get what you pay for. He enjoyed the taste the kibble was a tad big but he managed to eat it. I switched foods after 2 bags because I think all the oils from it being fish based made him very very oily.

My cats love this food. One has food sensitivities and this fish based mixed works wonders for her.The problem is that the picture on the item page is of a 15lb bag, but you'll be getting a 5lb bag. The only place this is specified is in the Item Weight field. The bag weight should be clearly stated in the item title or the product description.

These are great! I try to keep my cat on the healthiest diet possible and those contain whole foods, ingredients I actually know and can pronounce. A bit pricey, but I've been splitting two 5.5lbs bags of different flavors for the past two months, and I'd say I still have a good 2 weeks worth of food in each of them. A good investment in my opinion.

I love the ingredients - lots of protein listed up front, not a lot of filler. I have two cats who both seem to really enjoy this - they also seem to eat less and seem fuller longer. The other flavors are good but my cats really like the pacifica blend.

Our Weegies love it, great value too for a grain free dried cat food. Doesn't require a massive amount to be fed either, so last longer than expected. We've also tried the Orijen ones before, but they were too rich, causing an upset tummy for them sometimes. Whereas this is perfect. Lots of the same qualities of Orijen, but just not quite as rich.

Love the Acana products - recommended to me by a retailer who cares about the environment and animal testing( some big name brands apparently can be very unscrupulous with regard to both these issues) - you can be sure that this product is healthier for the cats plus it is responsibly manufactured

Mein Kater ist Allergiker und auch durch Bluttest auf einige Inhaltsstoffe getestet und identifiziert.Bei dem Futter sind bis Dato keine "ich zerfleische mir das Gesicht" aufgetreten.Man weiß ja nie was wirklich im Trockenfutter enthalten ist (traurig aber wahr!), den Verpackungsangaben traue ich überhaupt nicht mehr über dem Weg.Aber hier bin ich sehr positiv überrascht und fange an diesem Futterherrsteller zu vertrauen.Bin sehr zufrieden und meine Kater schmeckt es...sogar so sehr das ich das Futter in mehrer Protionen jetzt einteillen muss, weil er sonst alles aufeinmal wegfuttert :)
