Fisher-Price Discover 'n Grow Deluxe Musical Mobile Gym

As always, Fisher-Price has the cutes, most colorful toys for babies. The quality is excellent. My grandbaby is only 2 months old and already enjoys her gym, laughs, coos, kicks, grabs! Excellent learning tool. Little pricey but worth it.

I choose the "I like" rating because it is entertaining for my little girl, I like the volume setting so if i want to watch tv, it does not interfere with my program. But when I am not watching something, I can turn it up and she likes it. It has lights on the top that she will stare at the first minute, then will roll over and play with the other things. I did not like how slow the mobile attachment turned. It was too slow and it stops turning after a few minutes. You have to start it over again if you want it to move. Its weird like that. That is what i think is annoying, the mobile does not turn through the whole song.

We were looking forward for our Deluxe Musical Gym to work, as our baby has arrived. While assembling the items, the mat was missing one loop on the right side (it was supposed to be 3, it came with only 2 - photo attached), so I am unable to insert the arch through it, making the whole item unusable, unfortunately.I will avoid Fisher-Price products in the future.

I place my order on Tuesday and received it on Thursday (free shipping), which was awesome since I'm an impatient person :) . My baby enjoys everything about it. the music goes on for 20 minutes as advertised. and the colors of the toys are great. overall wonderful product, no regret.

I tried so hard to get away with not buying one of these silly baby play mats for my baby boy, but we spent an afternoon at a friend's house, he loved hers, and voilà, now we own this one! All in all, it really is great, the music isn't even that annoying. The only problem I had with this play mat was that the dangling creatures, an octopus with fish hanging from it, are too close to baby's face! At 2 months this really, really annoyed my son, but a month later he seems to be used to it! The fisher price Luv U Zoo that we tested out at a friend's was much better and the middle creatures were much further away from his little face and seemed to move faster as well! I loved the under-the-sea theme, but if my son hadn't drooled all over the mat, I might have considered returning it for the Zoo!

I'm having a baby in a couple months and I bought this early to test out on my 3 month old niece. She loves it... The music, lights, and rotating centerpiece would keep her entertained for a good 20-30 min. Now, at 5 months old, my niece is grabbing at the toys, rolling over, still loving the music & lights, and it continues to keep her occupied for 20-30 min.

I am a proud mother of two boys and its been fun to see how products have changed in the 5+ years between the boys. My first son never really liked play-gyms like these, while my now 4-month old really enjoys the lights and sounds this mobile gym offers. The assembly was easy and its quick to set up when needed so I can lay my boy down for just enough time to prep a meal or do something with both my arms ;) I would recommend this to anyone looking for a play gym.

This thing has lights, sound, hanging toys - what's not to love? She could lie on this thing for hours and be entertained if we let her. I love that you can easily unhook the mat and throw it in the washing machine. Spit up gone. Love it!
