Well worth the money!
I was MOST skeptical of this product when I came to this page several weeks ago and saw that it had no customer reviews. Another unreliable internet gadget, I thought. But I searched around the web and founded it listed on Sears for nearly three times the price, and figured that if it was good enough for the product scouts at that reputable company, it was good enough for me. The features seemed to be just what I needed so I decided to make the purchase. It turned out to be better than I hoped. I've been running a small side business fixing bikes in my garage. I use only 5 or so wrenches but I need them constantly at hand, and they are too heavy for my shop apron. This Torin Lock-A-Wrench set was the perfect solution. I stuck it on a gun safe that sits in my garage and it's two feet from my work station, just where I need it. I could not imagine a more handy contraption. Unlike other wrench holders, this does not have to be nailed or bolted to the wall, and it's way of holding the wrenches vertical works much better for me than those contraptions that hold them horizontally (which always make it awkward to grab the wrench by the handle). The features are great and work just as advertised. There is a locking mechanism that you can use if you simply twist one wrench -- the whole thing (the black part touching the wrenches) twists at an angle to a point that prevents any wrench from coming out of the holder. The feature works fine, but I've never used it. The wrenches stay put even if you leave the holder "open," and that's more convenient anyway. The magnet is MORE than adequate -- it's actually super strong. Attached to my smooth gun safe, the latch is so secure that it takes a fair bit of pressure just to slide it to a different angle or position. It takes a real solid grip to pull it off. Suffice it to say that you will NEVER have to worry about this thing falling off a good metal surface, even loaded with the heaviest wrenches. I tried it out on a few other metal surfaces just to see how it would work. I have one of those lightweight steel storage shelves for Rubbermaids in my garage; the holder stuck to it well, even though the surface is not flat like my gun safe. I even tried it on the crooked edge of a metal shop table; it worked there too. I have no doubt that this thing would stick really well to the side of a truck or tractor if you were using it away from the garage. Really pleased with the strength of the magnet! The main body of the holder (the red part) is heavy-duty steel of some kind and will probably last forever. The individual holders (the black part that touches the wrench) is a kind of plastic that seems tough enough to withstand a lot of hard use.Overall I think this is a great addition to any shop. It's well built, nicely designed, and fulfills a purpose that few other wrenches holders do. Buy this for Amazon's fantastic price (well less than half the price of competitors!) and you will NOT be disappointed!

Compare socket organizer vs. locking socket rack
Last week while changing the brake pads on my sons car iI did it again! Dropped all my sockets. Under the car, under the tool box... you get the idea. I needed the remedy. So I bought two of these socket organizers as well as two of the locking socket racks. These have a magnetic base to hold the sockets in place. while the other type has socket bases sticking up to hold and lock the sockets in place. Both have magnetic bases to stick the set to metal surfaces. These racks tidy up my personal sockets and fit both SAE and metric.A magnetic back allows you to arrange your set in any convenient or awkward place. On your box, in the cars engine cabinet, on the AC vents, anywhere. And with the locking feature, individual sockets don't fall off.--The good part of these holders is that they will hold 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch sockets. The other type only holds one size socket. So, one holder for each size which could be twice as expensive.-- The locking socket racks allows the sockets to lock into place on the holder so if they fall over they stay in place. There is a picture of the rack on my tool box attached. A big advantage in my opinion. With both types you don't leave sockets behind because you can see exactly what is missing. 100 % set hassle- free.If you are sick and tired of socket catastrophes, want to some structure to the usual mess and find that the plastic housing don't cut it, than the is the thing that you've been trying to find. So ,they each have pluses and minuses but I'd choose the locking racks because the sockets stay in place even if the rack falls over.Hope you find this helpful.

bulky
I have extra clips from a 3 rail & 5 rail socket storage sets made by same firm. Therefore I am able to interchange the connectors to suit my purpose. Currently this is used to store my 8 point stocket set that has 1/4, 2/8 & 1/2" drive sockets.

Great convenience.
These seem to work great so far. Haven't tested the limits of their strength or anything. Only downside, and it's not the fault of the magnets, is that the pegs are a little long so my pegboard on my toolbox is thin metal so they lean forward with weight on them.
