604-108 HVAC Blend Door Actuator Fits for Chevy Impala 2004-2013

The part functions perfectly, a great replacement for the old knocker. (I took the old unit apart, it had 4 consecutive teeth missing on the middle gear-about 1/5 of the teeth!-, which explains the skipping and klunking as it tried to work.) I am very happy with my purchase.Fit was perfect, quiet as a mouse. Heat/cold air flow restored to the driver's side of the dash. In theory, installation is very straightforward and easy, one connector and two screws... In reality, GM engineers for the 2013 Impala LTZ obviously deeply HATE the people who have to service their vehicles. The driver's side blend-door is hidden deep within the dashboard, behind various wiring harnesses, connectors, and access panels. What looks to be a 20 minute project in YouTube videos took me an hour and 20 minutes, mostly one handed as I dug my way through the labyrinth above the accelerator pedal. To see where I was working, I had to literally lay upside down on the flattened driver's seat, headfirst to the floor.This car has two more of these little actuator motors, but they are much more easily accessed behind the simple to remove glove box door/compartment.---Yes, I understand why the labor charges are high for this job. It sucks. Having successfully completed it myself, I'm treating myself to some the saved "labor charges" (I was informed it was usually approximately $150.00, not including part!), and buying a double scoop of my favorite ice cream. Heck yeah, with sprinkles, too.

I picked up an ’08 Chevy Impala from a neighbor, and the only issue it had was the annoying clicking from the actuator. I decided to take a chance on this one from Amazon since the 2‑day delivery beat the 4–5 day wait from RockAuto.Swapped it out in about 10 minutes and BAM — perfect fit. No more clicking, and it’s been working flawlessly since. The quality feels solid, not cheap plastic, and I haven’t had a single issue.Highly recommend this part if your Impala has that same annoying actuator noise. Quick fix, great fit, and now I’m officially out of things to repair on this car! For now.

Perfect fit and fairly easy to install and stopped that annoying clicking in my 2009 Impala. Price was great also.

It works but only lasts about a year. On my third one. I guess for $12 it's fine

It match perfectly for my 2015 Chevy impala limited lt, and seems like it will have good sturdiness, it stops the tapping noise , a/c airflow blows both cold and hot air now , functions properly , good design looks the same as original. Been only a week but seems like it will have good durability.

Total and complete fix of the issue for way less than other options. Will update if they fail quickly, but at this price if you can do it yourself (really easy) even if it only lasts a year it will be a pennies on the dollar fix over OE components.
