The set was easy to install! The headrest brackets are sturdy and have multiple different size blocks to adjust to each car model of headrest. The bracket holds the screen in place well. You can adjust the height and angle of the screen with the bracket set. Each DVD player came with a remote or you can use the same remote for both players. The volume can be turned up really loud and is easily heard over the cars travel noise. The picture is nice and sharp. The cords are long enough to fit in any car. The downside for me is when one dvd is playing and the screens share the same movie only the screen with the dvd in it will have sound. If the headphone jacks are used while sharing one dvd it is very quiet and the screen with the dvd has to have its headphone extra loud to make the volume at a level that the other set can hear the movie with its headphones. If each screen is playing its own dvd then the volume and headphones are perfect. The customer service was extremely helpful and attentive with my concerns. At this point I still am happy with my purchase and would recommend this set. My kids also think its awesome.

I recently ordered this dual DVD package to replace a single portable DVD player that was starting to give me problems. My family is about to go on a road-trip and we'll need something to keep the kids occupied so they don't pester each other (and the parents) to death. First impressions are good for this set-up. I have it set-up in my daily driver for now to see how it all works. We'll be renting a van for our trip so I should be good to go. So far, so good. The brackets that secure around the head rest posts have plenty of spacers to make sure they fit snuggly. The mount that attaches the player to the bracket seems very secure with good adjutablity. The cable lengths for the headphones and DC power are more than enough. In fact. I will have to find some way to tie them up, away from kid's feet. I did have an issue getting the single DVD to play on both players, but I went back and read the quick start guide and got it figured out. Both picture and sound seem to be good. I haven't checked it myself, but the kids love it. And best of all, it has an 18-month warranty. Hopefully I'll have no need to use it. A couple of cons, which aren't deal breakers for me: no AC adapter is included. I may try to source one in the future. And you can control either DVD player with either remote. So the kids have learned how to pause each others movie and seem to enjoy doing it. Actually, it is pretty funny, as long as there's no drama on the road. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it. UPDATE: The seller has reached out and offered to to supply an AC adapter for in-home use. I was completely happy with just using these in the vehicle, but having the adapter for indoor use make this package even better. This seller has been very accommodating and I do appreciate all the communication from them.

This is a good dvd player/screen combo for showing cartoons to kids in the back seat while on a long road trip. It's somewhat crazy to think that you're getting 2 screen/DVD player combos for a pretty low price. However, when you start viewing the screen, you realize that you're getting exactly what you paid for with a washed out, low quality screen that you might find on an airplane or a bus. After being spoiled with all the high contrast, high resolution retina displays with the modern iPhone/Android phone, you definitely feel like you're going back a dozen years in quality watching these things. This is especially noticeable when you're doing screen mirroring and comparing the video with a laptop. So the cons: * Definitely not a 1080p screen. The video input may accept 1080p, but you can definitely tell there is downsampling going on when you try to have it display small text - the letters appear all pixelated. * Not too much dynamic range for colors. Everything is very washed out and not too crisp. And now for the pros: * Easy setup - took me about 10 minutes setting up both displays; the mount seems easy to take on and off and is quite sturdy. * The kids are going to love this on our 20 hour road trip. * Successfully played a DVD and got it to mirror on to the other display using the "AV out" -> "AV in" port * Successfully played a movie from my laptop to both screens with a hdmi splitter. * Successfully played Nintendo Switch on both displays with a hdmi splitter. * Watching movies and cartoons, the image quality is passable, especially considering you are watching this in a vehicle. The HDMI splitter I went with is "HDMI Splitter Adapter Cable -HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out HDMI Male 1080P to Dual HDMI Female 1 to 2 Way, for HDMI HD, LED, LCD, TV，Support Two TVs at The Same Time Transmit Video and Audio Simultaneously Brand: RuiGE". I liked this one because it didn't require an external power adapter and has worked well for my minivan application. Of course I'd love to see a higher quality display, but I'm pretty happy with this for the price that I paid. Just looking for something to occupy the kids on the road trip, and I think this will work well. Will leave an update review if anything new comes up after our trip!

I read reviews of how the sound was very low so I purchased a cheap set of speakers to hook up to ours and that has helped a lot on the sound. Alone it is very hard to hear but our speakers added to it has made the sound perfect. Although some movies have louder sounds than others we have had to turn some of the movies down quite a bit. We have little ones so wearing the head phones has not been an option yet because they are quite big for their little heads and won't stay put so it makes them upset so we haven't used them. A few months in and one of the dvd players would not work anymore but I am pretty sure it was because the 3 year old messed with it too much so I can't complain to the company but we are now just using the one and have had no other problems with it. I've only had one dvd that it would not read for some reason so can't complain there either. The mount clips broke not long after purchase but fixed that by tying cords to hold them in. Only way I take them down is by sliding them up from the mounts and sliding them down to put back. But for the most part it is never moved. I did not need a screwdriver or anything to put my mounts on the headrest because I just raised up my headrest and took them off the seat and slid them into the mounts without even taking the mounts apart and it fit nicely that way. My cords were also long enough to actually put one player on the back of the front seat for one child and the second player on the back of that child's seat for the other child to sit behind him. Worked great until the one player stopped working. Now they both have to watch the same player. For the record I don't know how we would get by without this because we have two little ones who absolutely hates car rides. Now they are happy.

I installed this in my 2018 Audi Q7 and my kids are very happy with it. If you want a factory rear seat entertainment system from Audi the seats have to be pre-wired for the system from the factory. And then the system costs around $1500-$1600. I had to make some minor modifications to the headrest post hangers as the Q7's are large and square (my only hiccup with the install). The players can sync up with each other if they are plugged in with one another. I have three kids and the younger two watch different shows than their older sibling. They also like to stream or watch downloaded content from devices so I got a lightning to HDMI adapter for iPhone/iPads. Works nice that way. I also have a mini-USB to HDMI for their Kindles that I haven't tried out yet. They don't really use the headphones as I got bluetooth ones from Trond. They work well but one transmitter can only send to two headphones. The third kid has to plug in to his screen with a jack cord or I have to get another transmitter...but this is a review about the players. We're happy with them. The picture quality is good and they have multiple viewing options. I like being able to play from downloaded/streaming content as DVD's can clutter up cars on road trips. They are better than factory as they are more versatile and the factory option is supper expensive. Plus, I think my kids have more options than the factory system with this setup. Any issues I've had were promptly addressed by the seller.

Update: After using for 4 months, one DVD player will not play sound. But there is an 18 month manufacturing warranty. They offered an update download that I needed to do which did not work. After I notified them of this, they offered to replace the unit. First review: This dvd set arrived quickly and well packaged. It was a very simple installation process that took less than 15 minutes after reading the instructions. The mounting system works great and is very secure. I could easily swap out the mounting piece that fits correctly for my vehicle (included in package). Since I have a rear facing and forward facing car seat in my suv, I did have to purchase a 12ft av audio/video cable separately to be able to connect the two monitors and hide the cord. I think the audio/video cord included is just under 6ft. I love that the charging cable has a splitter which takes up one charging for both DVD players. The picture quality was nice and my kids love it. Having the remote is so helpful with young toddlers. The sound in the earphones was fine when I tested them but my kids haven’t used them yet. It’s easy to put the dvd in and it picks up from where you left. My only gripe about the unit is that you can not simply use your phone usb to play what is on your phone. You have to connect your phone to an hdmi cord which means another purchase. I haven’t done that yet. Not the company’s fault. I just didn’t know that. Also, if you are wanting both DVD players to play the same image, that only works with dvd’s, not with hdmi or usb. Also, there is no built in battery. Not a big deal for me but good to know. Other than that, this is an awesome purchase. Easy set up, easy to use, easy to store away. Your kids will love it.

Excellent backseat entertainment! I had an older Naviskauto rear seat system for my kids, but the second monitor was only a slave monitor (so both kids had to watch the same video). This is a game changer for long road trips! So why only 3 stars? Because the headrest mounts don’t fit my car (Chevy Traverse). The riser bars in my car are too close together, so I’m left with having to mount the monitors using Velcro. I wish they offered a smaller bracket option! UPDATE: Absolutely fantastic customer service! The manufacturer contacted me based on this review, and is now sending me smaller brackets to work in my car. Wowsa! That kind of service is hard to find these days, and I've added a star accordingly. Once I get the new brackets and install them, I'll write another update. UPDATE 2: I received the new brackets and the monitors now fit my car splendidly! I'm quite pleased with these monitors and with the fantastic customer service. My kids and I took a 2,000+ mile road-trip this summer and these monitors helped us all with making the time go by. One thing to be aware of is that mirroring (ie, playing the same thing on both monitors) only works with DVDs--you cannot mirror videos from an SD card, for example. As long as you're aware of this limitation, you can plan accordingly.

I purchased this unit as a replacement to a Panasonic dual player I had for many years. Having 3 grandchildren it truly helps on road trips to be able to provide entertainment to keep them occupied. I like that this unit has a bigger screen, the picture is very nice. The secure brackets are a plus. I hated trying to pull straps tight enough to secure the units in place. I also like that you have various other options to play movies from a phone or tablet using the HDMI or USB ports. It was also a plus that it comes with two sets of headphones as the kids are getting bigger and outgrown the kiddie headphones I had purchased for the other set. I have a problem with one of the headphones though, the cushioned cover was not secure and as I pulled it out the plastic it popped off. I have tried everything to get it back on but there isn’t much material to work with and I’m afraid I will rip it if I pull too much trying to stretch it enough to get back on. The thing that really gets me is that I don’t like that I have to reset the monitors every time I get in the car if I want to use the dual feature. It would be nice if it held position until you changed it to something else. It’s a pain when you are in a rush but you have kids in the back ready to watch a movie and watching it on one screen would be a no-no when you have 2 monitors so you have to take time to ensure the system is in dual mode before you can pull off. Hopefully I’m doing something wrong and this can be corrected. For the price, it would have been nice to have received power cords for the units so that they could be used in the house or hotel when on the road for additional entertainment and convenience. Lucky for me my old unit had cords that fit the new unit so that kind of worked itself out. Overall, I like this unit and would recommend it to someone else.

I have bought this in May 6, 2024. After 3 months, it not working but I know it have a warranty for 18 months. So I contact the Amazon customer service and they ask me to contact the seller. And guess what, the seller ask me to contact the Amazon again, and it ask me to contact the manufacturer. And yep, they told me that they don’t sell those items and ask me to contact the Amazon again. And now it blocked so I can’t do any return on the items. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER, it suck, very annoying.

*I talked with the people who sell this item and they informed me after lost of back and forth over a week that there is nothing they can do to help source the pieces which are lost. This makes my whole system completely unusable as I cant put it in my new vehicle. Make sure you keep track of everything you receive with your order because you wont be able to talk to the company directly or get any replacement parts. Not happy as i spent a pretty penny on this and it works great outside of it not being stable on the headrest now it doesn't have the adjustment pieces.* DISAPOINTING AFTER SALES SERVICE I have loved our portable dvd players for the car, Overall I am happy with the purchase. It's tough and has lasted well for my kids. It's also easy enough to use that a 5 & 7 year old are able to change the DVD's themselves and start the movie themselves. I actually love the simple design for that reason. I also will say that the mounting bracket is sturdy and not easily moved if you have the right adjustment pieces. The only downside is that there are a lot of pieces to keep track off and of course we have lost the adjustment pieces for the brackets so they will fit on different size headrests.
