Not Ideal
If you're learning to play piano you'll be wanting tunes that you know and just sound right in a simple arrangement that are easy to play. In this respect the ABBA book in this series is quite a bit better.Queen of course are a rock band, and responsible for some truly brilliant songs, but as a piano learner I don't think their songs translate well into ones for those new to piano. Some do (I Want to Break Free and Radio Gaga are fun) but a good number of the songs are a bit of a struggle. If you've already got the ABBA book, then I would strongly recommend the James Bond one. Again, many of the songs in there just work for the beginner. For a tenner you can hardly go wrong of course, but even if you're a huge Queen fan, I wouldn't buy this book as your first one in the series because I think you'll be disappointed.

Good book
Husband is learning the piano and wanted some very basic two handed tunes to play. This seems to fit the bill, easy to pick up the tines without being a piano expert.

Queen Piano music
I really enjoy using this music book. It's quite straightforward to play each song (although I did study Music to grade 4 so I wouldn't say it's for a complete beginner as the notes don't have the names on them.) Having said that, there aren't any complicated chords so a basic knowledge of the staff should permit a reasonable attempt of sounding like the original song.

Good presentation
I thought the music had not been delivered, but it had been! The songs are great and well presented.

Great fun!
Great arrangements for Grade 2-ish players. As a teacher I find that these are perfect for teaching complex rhythms in an enjoyable and un-daunting way. They are also nice and short, which makes them achievable for younger players. Thoroughly recommend it!
