Does this boat get moldy?

No.....i have had it a couple of years. It has floated barbie in the swimming pool..... and is in my bath tub today from rescuing little people from a flood! Great little boat.....safety ring comes off to toss to a drowning victim😳😎

Could Barbie's fit in this boat?

I think this would be fun to use in the pool. We used it in the tub (because it was winter).

Does the boat itself float?

I can't say with 100% certainty because it's in the package and I haven't tried it but I would think so. It does say boat on it so I would hope so! Hope that helps.
