Leisure Recliner Chair with 8-Motor Massage & Heat, Brown

UPDATE:Found my mom always using my chair, she loved it so much she got one for herself! She loves the heat in winter and finds it gives you that core warm that can get rid of that initial chill.I got this chair to use in my living room as a replacement for an older recliner. I looked around for a new chair but they were either way overstuffed or/and very expensive. I came across this online and after getting a great mattress online, thought I would give this a go. I bought this chair since it looked comfortable and was not overstuffed with padding (that most newer chairs seem to be) and was pretty cheap (price wise). A bonus was that it had a massage feature and a heat feature!I got the chair and it was in a big, heavy box with no handles... So after struggling to get it into the house, I finally got it and unpacked it. It came with everything you needed to set it up, but using your own ratchet and a hex screw screwdriver adapter makes it much easier. I read through the instructions which are simple enough. After putting the seat on the base pole and putting it into the base you put the back on the screw holes and than line it up with teh hole in the seat part and than bolt it through (it is not super easy to get them to line up, but once you get one you will have no problem with the other side). The back and base were now hooked together, I got ready to put the arms on, they had labels for left and right and with a little force you can push them down between the cushioning of the back/base and pole, than line up the holes and bolt them together and than repeat for the other side (this is probably the hardest part in my opinion). You can than just screw on the pole to the foot rest and stick it in the base. Plug in the cables and you are done.The chair does not hook into the base, which was not really cool, I wish it someone screwed into the base or locked so you could lift the chair and it would also lift the base (this is true of the foot rest as well). This is not a big deal, just a slight annoyance.The chair is super comfortable. The chair is no overstuffed and you do not sink in it, you feel like you are in a nice size chair that is comfortable. You can recline the chair more using the pull lever on the side and moves very easily (when you are sitting in the chair). The material feels really soft and looks like high quality leather. It has enough stuffing for me to be comfortable but not sink in like other chairs. The chair is also wider than I thought, when sitting it in I have about 2 inches on both sides of me (from hip to arm rest), which gives you more comfort since you can sit in it in different ways.The chair spins but does not rock or anything (was aware of this when I bought it) and the cord going from the chair to the foot rest (for the massagers in the foot rest) is springy and gives you plenty of room to spin (not all the way around).The massagers in the chair are great! You can easily turn the chair on with the remote that goes in the pocket on the side of the chair. It has a small display for the timer (how much longer until the chair goes off) and the settings are easy to understand. You can use one of the several preprogrammed sessions to get vibrations, or you can turn on specific areas for vibration in that area (you can have all, one, none, whatever you want), you can also change the intensity of the massage. The lumbar heat is nice, I can turn that on after getting in from the cold and it helps get me feeling warmer faster.In the end this was a great chair! It is super comfortable and the massage and heat feature were a nice bonus. It was a great price and was easy to setup. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a comfortable chair that is not one of those overstuffed chairs and is super comfortable!!!

Thought it was a sturdy aond mostly comfortable chair when I first received...little did I know within a year and a half the fake leather began to flake and fall apart, guessing why this chair is no longer sold...what a waste of money.Didn't mean to take so long to write a review but was very disappointed.

Putting it together took a bit longer that I thought it would. Suggestion when building: Loosen the back of the chair or just remove the screws completely when you're up to the step when you install the arm rests. There just isn't enough room if you tightened the screws on the back of the chair already.That said, the materials are very well packed. They're wrapped up and things like screws are separated from each other so you don't have to fish for a certain type when trying to put it together. The directions are quite clear. They resemble ikea directions except in this chair, all the parts are guaranteed to fit together correctly, unlike my sister's ikea desk (the drawers jut out terribly as the holes didn't line up). The only issue I had with understanding was the step involving wiring. As the wiring itself is fairly obvious, this was not a large issue. (If the leg portion doesn't vibrate, try plugging it in elsewhere).I bought this chair for my aging grandma. She had a recent accident and constantly complains of back pains. That said, she also complains that most traditional massage chairs are too forceful and are more likely to break her bones. This chair is a lot weaker than the usual shiatsu chairs. It can vibrate pretty intensely but as the vibration is not pressing into your back and is instead covered by a lot of plush, it's much weaker.Take this portion of the review with a grain of salt as the chair is only a day old. So far it's quite comfortable. The material is comfortable, if cheap. It's at a decent height. My grandma is 5'7 and has trouble getting out of chairs that are too short. This one is manageable for her. The vibration is soothing for her. We have yet to try out the heat function as it is summer and we are all sweating out of our clothing so I cant really comment on that. On the whole I recommend it, especially if you despise traditional massage chairs. If you don't hate them, try them first.

I was unsure whether to order this recliner: I didn't know whether it would be comfortable nor if it would be as attractive as it showed in the picture. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try.First, I want to thank everyone who takes the time to review products. I really rely on those reviews and read all before purchasing an item. This chair received good reviews and everyone was spot on. This was bought for my husband's Man Cave and it looks wonderful in there and that is where it should have stayed. We had company one evening. The weather was so nice that we decided to sit on our newly built front porch. We needed extra seating and this chair is not heavy, so we put it on the porch. Okay, guess where this chair is - still on the porch. My husband and his friends dare me to move it!The guys will go to the Hunt Club and then come to our place since we live so near. Everyone loves to come over and have a massage. They appreciate that the chair is outside, so they don't track dirt on the carpet.The reviews were well-deserved: this massager is attractive, comfortable, and budget friendly. I am very pleased.

Received my order today (April 16) just 4 days after placing the order. Impressed with the fast delivery even though the package was damaged. At least the contents were unharmed. Unfortunately UPS just left it at the front door and according to the "proof of delivery" on their tracking site it was sitting there for 2 hours before we discovered it.. Yes somebody was home all day too!Much easier to assemble than anticipated and it works and feels great. Very comfortable.
