Not what we expected
I rated the Bubber three stars because I was kind of disappointed at how little we were able to create with it. It works really well as a stress toy, but I guess you have to get the sand molds to be able to build anything with it.I like that it is actually easier to clean than play doh (which is my comparison) because it doesn't stick to anything. So everyone who said you can just vacuum it up after use was right.I do not like that you WILL HAVE to vacuum after use. The stuff crumbles in your hands. At first I thought I had to add water or something because it was so dry and crumbly, but there were no instructions for that, so I didn't. Maybe it would be an interesting experiment to see what happens if you add a little water.Ok, I will now describe what we received in the mail. The tub is about as tall as two containers of play doh stacked one over the other, but it weighs less than one container of play doh so it is substantial and light. It has a dry crumbly consistency which reminded me of cotton candy, maybe a little less brittle since it looks like it's trying to stay bound. You can squeeze it and it will become compact, but if you bend it it crumbles, it has a lot less elasticity than play doh. This is why I said you WILL have to clean after a play session, your floor will be covered in bits. I guess playing with this stuff is a learning curb and like I mentioned above, it has it's own set of tools that goes with it, because the tools that we have for the play doh did not work well with it.To start with, when we tried to roll it with the rolling pin, it was so dry that it didn't stick to the counter at all, and my son was frustrated when all that happened was a blob of Bubber sliding away from him. When we put some in the play doh press (you know, the one that makes play doh spaghetti...) it was really hard to push it through, I hardly got half an inch through before I gave up. When we tried cutting it, and poking it with a toothpick it was much better. It does cut quite cleanly. Like play doh it assimilates anything that it comes across. So if you just happen to be eating granola while you play with it, it will be lumpy with granola bits afterward and it will stay that way. Will I buy any more of this? Not likely. I estimate that in our first play session we lost maybe a sixth of the Bubber to the floor, shoes, and the broom. For over $10/tub, it doesn't seem worth it to me. But we will play with this one for as long as it lasts. I think I would call this a textured sensory toy, because you want to squeeze it and make it crumble, like I said, a stress toy.

My daughter loves it
My 4 year old loves Bubber. As a mom though I kind of dread it. Sure, it doesn't dry out like playdoh, but it is also super staticy so it sticks to everything! I think I need ot make a designated bubber area and put it in a bin or something, because if she plays with it on the floor it gets staticy and sticks to her feet and then gets in the carpet. Ours also has a ton of dog hair in it now, as it gets in there and is hard to get out. So, I think it's nice that it doesn't dry out and she can play with it, however it doesn't keep it's shape and gets everywhere. It is a great option for those who can't play with playdoh because of the flour though.

Bubber is okay, not as fun as play-dough
I'm giving WABA Bubber 3 stars because it's didn't really keep my 3 yr old's attention for too long. It seems like a good idea to have a safe and easy to clean alternative to play dough but Bubber isn't pliable enough. Therefore you can't sculpt as precisely and freely as you would like.Pros: Easy to clean and safe. Different than playdoughCons: Can't sculpt anything you wan't, anything you make kind of falls apartVerdict: For the price it might be worth a shot to try it out, but it's not going to be a long term keeper type toy that your kids will play again and again. It might be good at a party or play date.

kids asked for it but dont play with it
Bought this for my kids. They seen it at a toy store on display and wanted it. When we received it it wasn't as soft as easy to use as the stuff in the store which I assume is because its new and hasn't been played with as much but my kids havent played with it since.

Terrible Mess!
I never take the time to write reviews, but had I known what a gigantic mess this stuff made, I never would have purchased it. I'm hoping to save someone else from the same hassle I just endured! While my 3 year old son enjoyed playing with this and making molds with it, tiny chunks of the Bubber CONSTANTLY are coming off of it and falling all over the place. There are little chunks EVERYWHERE and there is no way to stop it. After I realized this, I only allowed my son to play with the Bubber outside. Even still, the Bubber would stick to his feet and he would track it all over the place. The package says that it deosn't stain, but once the bubber is rubbed into fabric, it leaves a redsidue of powder that is difficult to scrub off. My son managed to get the blue Bubber all over his hands, legs, and feet and just a gentle wipe down was not getting it off. We had to take a bath to clean him up. I know that I sound like a crazy Mom that insists on keeping things immaculate-- this could not be further from the truth! This stuff is just an out of control hassle that even a laid-back mom who easily deals with drit, mud, and dog hair cannot tolerate! I MUCH prefer playdough as it doesn't leave little pieces that are next to impossible to contain and clean up. Another note: my two yellow Labs very much enjoyed eating the pieces of Bubber that fell off. After just a day or two of playing with this, between all the pieces that fell off and were eaten or rubbed into the ground, there was no Bubber left. If your child doesn't have a gluten intolerance and YOU don't have the patience of Job, go for Playdough.

Love this, use it for my students and my kids!
Love this, bought this for my daughter and prefer it over playdoh, easier to clean, does not dry out, soft and easy to play with. Really cannot say enough good things about this. I use this for therapeutic reasons for students as well and find they really enjoy this over stress balls and other stress toys.

fun
This stuff is so fun! hasn't dried out, and the kids have had fun experimenting with it, to see what they can do to it without it returning to it's original form. So far it's resisted freezing, drying and freezing mixed with water. really fun stuff

divertente
