Lexington Modern Molded Plastic Armchair Rocker, Blue

We got this chair for our nursery. I like that I can rest my arms very easily on the sides to nurse and it seems like a very good quality chair. I also think it is very comfortable. We made it a little more cozy by draping a fur throw over it and adding a throw pillow. It looks wonderful in our daughters room so we've also been using it as a photo prop for monthly milestone pictures. This chair comes in two pieces; the bucket and the bottom piece. I will say it was a little difficult for me to put together. I would've liked there to have been directions of how to line up the bucket with the bottom piece. It just didn't seem to align quite right, BUT the chair did come with a tool for tightening the bolts, which was nice. I got it put together fairly quicky despite the setback, I just tightened the heck out of the bolts to get it as aligned as possible. This chair is also a little short so if you're really tall it might not work for you. However, I'm 5'6'' and I think it works great. I really do love it!

ordered this a few years ago...writing a review now. Packaging was excellent, contrary to other reviews here. as easy to assemble as a chair that comes in separate pieces can be. it's as stylish as it appears to be in the pics. ordered for baby nursery, but it's been used in various capacities around the house. wife nursed our newborn in it, and didn't complain about the comfort...although we ordered a faux lambskin throw to go with it, and that truly helped for those extended times sitting. probably not IDEAL for that nursing, looking back...but as a rocking chair...it's great. comfortable. low to the ground...but not in a cheap or negative way. if you're into minimalist, scandanavian type furniture...this will fit right in. no complaints. it's held up over the past 3 years...easy to clean...and our now 3 year old loves to climb up and read in it. that's a good chair.

I read previous reviews for this chair and everyone raved about it, including how easy it was to assemble. I figure if I can survive IKEA assemblies, this couldn't be that hard, right? I received my chair very quickly, and everything was in perfect shape on arrival. I emptied the box, but there were no instructions! I laid everything out and laid the pieces out how I thought they should go. I kept having to refer back to the one website photo of this chair and blowing it up to see where the bolts go on the rocker, but they did not make sense when I would attach them that way. I must have put together this chair 5 different ways before I asked someone to help me out. It's together, but I have no idea for sure if it's together the correct way. The seat is comfortable, but the rockers do not glide smoothly. I always sit on this chair gently, but for design's sake, it's a great chair for my mid century decor. This chair is also rather short, but I'm short, so I think that's fantastic.

We have a smaller nursery so I couldn't get the super comfy glider I had in my previous nursery. This chair fits the body comfortably, arms rest easily for nursing, back supported, rocking in a shorter rock than a glider but still easy. What I need and I love is that I can easily move the chair with one hand over to my toddler's bed to read her a story then back it doesn't feel cheap or unstable. It looks great and works great for us. Would buy again. I am nearly 6 feet tall and my husband a few in taller, both of us fit fine as does my friend who is 5'2, my 2 year old daughter climbed into it and looks at books in it on her own. I do use a cushion if I will be rocking for more than an hour. I couldn't fall asleep in it like a glider as it doesn't go up high enough to support upper back or neck but it is still supportive and comfy. Looks great, feels fine and movable for each kids bedtime. Love it!

Chair is very cool looking, but it is TINY. It's several inches lower to the ground than regular chairs. I have plastic molded dining chairs in this same style, and these are way smaller. More like kid sized. Also, the chair is unbalanced on the rockers. If you try to relax in the chair you lean way far back. You have to use your legs sticking straight out in front of you as a counter weight, and keep your abs engaged to keep from tipping too far backward. I really wanted to love this chair, but it's too poorly designed and too uncomfortable. Had to send back.

Love the look of this rocking chair! It is perfect for a small nursery to save space! Its pretty comfy but the back is not very tall so when you lean back, there is not much back support which kinda sucks. I put a pillow there when i sit to lean back and it works perfect like that with a pillow! So i still love it. Good quality for the price, just wish the back piece was a little taller-but overall a good alternative rocking chair if you need to save space!

Prepare yourself mentally that this chair is small! It has a low back and is not large at all. But because I had read reviews, I knew this. It's cute, functional, and has a great strong base so I believe it can hold heavier people. Mind you, I am not large but maybe if you are taller it may feel too uncomfortable. I got a little pillow to put on my back when I sit and it's comfy. I have breastfed my babies and I would say this would not be very comfortable for that purpose. I would want a more comfy/loungy chair with a higher back and more space in the elbow area. It is a great "read books and snuggle a bit before bed" chair. I love the modern look and it is very easy to assemble.

I adore this chair. I purchased it in place of a glider in my daughters nursery as we had very limited space. Pros: beautiful and simple design. I believe it looks amazing with any decor. It's small and fits almost anywhere. My kids climb up in it easily. This may be a con for some people but the back is so low that I am not tempted to fall asleep in it. Which means after I rock s child to sleep, I put them in bed, get up and continue on with my night. I used to fall asleep in my first child's glider ALL THE TIME and I would wake up disoriented and much later than I had wanted to. Cons: doesn't go together as smoothly as it should. The bottom attaches to seat but doesn't line up perfect and it took me and my husband together to get it screwed on. I just thought it would be easier. Also I am petite (5ft) and love the size of the chair. My husband is not petite and has yet to sit in it. I put a pouf in front Asian ottoman and a decorative pillow that I use for back support when I sit down. I'm really happy with my purchase overall.

This chair perfect. Good quality and exactly what I needed for a smaller nursery. It is a low profile chair but that is part of its chic modern design. I have spent some time already rocking in it and I enjoy it and find it comfortable. Perfect chair for the price.

Easy to put together and looks stylish. Purchased for baby's room and now I have it in my bedroom. Rocks nicely and is pretty comfy

i love the retro style, i love the height - yes, its a little low, but i think thats a bonus not a negative. it shipped super quick and arrived unmarked. the only issue i have is its 4 little bolts holding the frame to the base and the holes dont line up, 3 do - flawless, one just doesnt - had to use a longer bolt at an awkward angle to secure it, factory made there should be no reason for that super comfy for shorter status, little wide for me to call it petite quality control in mfg would have been nice though, only downside, but it was kind of a biggie to me

I really love this chair! Add a really nice faux fur throw to it and you have yourself a super modern accent to your space!

These look great in our modern living room. I don't think they're too small at all. I added sheepskin rugs over them to make them soft, but they are very comfortable and very welcoming.
