Internet in my Patio again
After wrapping my concrete house with more insulation and added a metal roof I was unable to use my Wi-Fi in my patio. I was not about to drill though the concrete wall and run 40 foot of ethernet cabling so I decided to purchase this product. Wow I had internet in my patio again in 3 minutes. Setup was all to easy, plug it into the wall, connect to my router and shazam I am setting on my patio watching my favorite shows and chatting with friends on social media. The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow. No web site to go to for additional instructions or web-page for configuring. I expected a loss in speed going through my electrical system but boy was I surprise when I did my first speed test. It was at my download speed. At first, I did not believe it so I tested it again. Being the sceptic that I am, I then began to stream HD movies and wow I am a believer now. This worked so well I decided to see if it would work in my โMan Caveโ. an 18 ft by 14 ft metal building that I store all my toys in. This building is 50 feet from my house but on the same electrical hook up. With that in mind I set out on an adventure. I unplugged the patio unit, walked to my โMan Caveโ, plugged the unit in and I was in business again. I did loose 1 mb of download speed, maybe due to the electrical wire size and distance, but well worth it. I do not want to run cable to that building and other options would cost more than this one. This will sure come in handy when I need to order parts for my tractor or look up some DYI projects. If you have some of the same issues, I stated above than I highly recommend this product. I am sure my wife will not let me keep this unit in my Man Cave so I will be ordering another unit but I think I will see if I can for a WIFI adapter that connects to this unit so I use my tablet in my Man cave. Once I have everything up and running, I will surely update my review.

50% Speed Improvement With Solid Connection
Internet connectivity outside of my living room is something out of the twilight zone. Wonderful for a split second then non-existent. I'm constantly hearing the beeps from my cell phone when I'm on a wifi call in my bedroom telling me my phone call is about to drop. My Fire TV in my room is a constant battle of loading, waiting and my wife asking me if I need to change the batteries in the remote even though I did it last week.Enter NexusLink. I have been researching powerline adapters for a long time. Found this one and figured I would give it a shot. Most of the adapters I had been looking at were upwards of $200 for a pair of adapters. This one came in under $100 which is what initially caught my eye.I tried to add as many meaningful pictures as possible. First thing out of the box, instructions are nicely written and have great pictures. Setup literally took me 2 minutes. There is no web page to log into and configure, these are plug in, sync and use the internet. Very simple and straight forward.I was excited to see how they would work and upon my very first attempt plugging them in I was grinning. You know when you first do a speed test and it jumps way up there to the maximum speed that you actually pay for? Well yeah, it did that, something I haven't seen in a long time with my wifi connection. Of course it dropped back down to normal speeds but they were higher than my wifi connection and the best part was I knew it would not cut out.The first outlet I tried was about 30% faster with lower latency. I figured I would try the other outlets and found one that almost doubled my speed in my back master bedroom.Overall I highly recommend this product. Next on my to do list is to look for a wifi repeater to connect to this adapter and extend my wifi. I'll update my review if/when I find one that is compatible.

Thrilled with this Ethernet Adapter
Just got this, and I'm thrilled with it! The instructions are clear, with pictures, and it is simple to set up. It took me under 10 minutes, and it worked right out of the box. I've got my Verizon 5G Internet Gateway in an upstairs bedroom near a window, and I connected the included Cat5e cable from my router's LAN port to one of these adapters and plugged it in. Within seconds it show connectivity to my router. I went downstairs and plugged the 2nd adapter into an outlet and connected to to my laptop with the 2nd included Cat5e cable. Within seconds it connected, and I had "wired Ethernet" to my laptop. I pressed the encryption pairing buttons on both adapters and in about 30 seconds they were communicating with each other across the house fully encrypted. The speed test showed 28ms ping, 66 Mbps download speed and 22 Mbps upload speed, which is plenty for streaming and is just as good as I was getting before, so any signal degradation was unnoticeable. I'll be using this to connect to an old router that I'll place downstairs as a second access point for several devices. I definitely recommend this adapter!

Slower than my AV1000 adapter.
False advertising. My current TP-Link with a 1000 Mbps throughput is faster by around 20-30 Mbps than this supposed 1200 Mbps throughput. I needed something just a bit faster for work, not a bit slower. Now I have to deal with the hassle of returning this.

Works but def a hit or miss
This is a hit and miss for meHits - no crazy install needed. Just plug to your wall socket, plug into your router or modem if it has ports. Put the other in the room needed it, connect and voila a happy wired connection.Miss - Massive in size. I had to for it into my outlets cause its big enough to interfere when using a secondary plug so please be aware of that. Also possible miss but could be house wiring.. At least the connection seemed to be spotty at best the first 2 weeks but since then stable as can be. I only use it for a iptv connection in another room where wireless is an issue as to signal stretch so this does it job.Overall I can't knock the performance or quality but definitely be aware of the size of this device.

East to install and worked well with no problems
I dread dealing with internet products because half the time I have setup issues. However, the NexusLink GPL-1200 was very easy to set up and use. I had no problems getting my desktop PC in my bedroom hooked up to the internet through this line. I was able to get up to 50 Mbps download which is sufficient for my needs and more than double what I have been getting through my Wi-Fi since the 5GHz band is not able to reach my PC.Each unit has one Ethernet port. They also have a pleasing look and appear solidly built. They came with two 6 ft. long Ethernet cables. Keep this in mind in case you need to purchase longer cables.Another thing to keep in mind is that the 1200 Mbps speed for this unit and any other 1200 Mbps power line unit is the speed capability of the electronics inside the unit. It does not mean if you have a 1200 Mbps at your modem you will have 1200 Mbps at the remote powerline unit. From what I read on the internet, you will lose speed in going through the power lines, but a 1200 Mbps unit will likely result in a faster connection than a 500 Mbps unit and so on.I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a powerline adapter, especially for creating Ethernet connections in areas of the house with weak Wi-Fi or for desktop PCs and electronics that do not have Wi-Fi.

Better than name brand competition.
Worked as it should. Great product. Was using a name brand unit prior to this. Faster better quality and a power out. GREAT!!!

It works and it's easy to install but the internet speed is not for everyone.
You'll be able to connect your device to the internet without running a big cable down the middle of your house but the internet speeds you'll be getting are from 2004. I'm averaging 20 ping with 45mbps download and 60 mbps download. I tested it using multiple services. I can do the usual stuff like youtube and google search. Internet surfing is fine. You're going to cry if you have to download any update for your Steam games.

Disappointing speeds
It only registers at 100 mbps. Not 1200 mbps as advertised.
