A great choice!
I would say I mulled over the decision of buying these headphones for about 1+ weeks until I decided to nip it in the bud. Although the disappointing Prime Day saved me a measly ~$10, I decided to buy it the day of. I researched it extensively through reviews in deciding on the wireless and wired ones. I weighed my options based on what I would normally use them for (running). I like my Apple ear pods for my phone, etc, but they might end up being my back ups.For starters, I have a "unfitting" right ear and anything considered "in ear" or sitting in the canal (I actually learned about all these crazy terms while reading reviews and watching videos on youtube) just wouldn't fit. Plus, spending over $120+ on earphones better be worth my money! Plus, I hate doing returns. It's a pain.I think the people who get bad ones just happen to be the one out of *insert number here* that get the defect. Choosing the color wasn't a problem (went with white) and deciding if I really wanted it or not (yes) wasn't an issue either. I just needed the justification!!! I even went to the Apple store and Target to check it out in REAL LIFE, but of course I couldn't try them on, I can only ogle at the beauty. So, they came today and it was everything I thought it would be:*Noise-cancellation - check (this could be good and bad)*Comfort - check (so extremely important). I find that when I'm not doing active movement and using it while stationary (on the computer, walking around), they fit extremely well.*Fit - check!!! This was high on my list of necessities! They do not fall off, the over ear hook piece is comfortable, I barely even feel it. I use the default ear bud cover for my left ear and use a different one for my right ear to have a better fit.*Sound - it is crisp, clear and I love my bass. I don't believe that the bass is as AMAZING as I thought it would be, but it's still better than anything else I've had.Reason why I chose wired versus wireless is because I don't want to have to charge it every time the battery runs low or worry about blue tooth connection on the earphones and the other device I'm using. I'm fine with the plain ol' wired version. I am one to really take care of my electronics, so I don't mind.I genuinely like the product and don't regret it at all! :o) It serves as a good product and a motivation for a good run!

Cheaper made, but not necessarily worse.
I really liked the older version of these headphones. So I bought these as a second pair.Normally, I hate earbud style headphones. They never stay in my ear. Ever. So the over the ear style works well for me.These headphones have a definite theme when compared to the older versions.I can see where things got cheaper. Probably in an effort to save/make more money. But at the same time, there are a few changes that also are just better as well, even if they also save money on mfg.The case is cheaper quality, but better designed. I don't need the headphones to fit perfectly into slots. This version with a completely open case works much better and easier. Though I lied the elastic band/net to hold my extension cable in the old case.I also like the new 90 degree phone jack as well. The Over the Ear components feel a little cheaper like most everything else in texture and feel. But it does not effect the quality of the fit or sound.Just wish headphone buttons in general worked better with android. But I have seen similar issues with all kinds and brands of headphones so it's more likely Android (and the app designer's) fault.

First pair of beats I got!
The first pair of beats I had in middle school and they worked like a charm. But one day I got my laptop taken away because I got past the parental controls. And I forgot to take them out of the case and the tech guy didnβt check the case he just gave the laptop to the next person needing it and when I checked if he new where they were thatβs what he told me and I never saw them again!!! π’2015

Pricey but not bad with the right music settings
So I bought these to have a good set of headphones for my LA marathon run. Well, I would like to say that they fit well around the ears and are comfortable. They don't fall out of my ear when I run either. However, the reason I couldn't rate these as a five is because of the sound of the headphones. The headphones don't sound bad, but I expected better sound than my iPhone ones which sound good. I have scullcandy headphones, the aviator, that sound better than these headphones. However, over the ear headphone always seem to sound better to me. Again, these headphones stay in place and wears nicely. I tried changing the EQ in my iPhone and I did get really good sound for R&B and hip hop and piano. However, there are some songs I have that still didn't sound any better regardless the setting I was choosing. So it seems like these headphones are designed to I enhance certain music and not all.

I like it!
I bought the open box deal of these, which works JUST fine, at a much lower price! The item arrived still in it's original packaging, with the original manuals. I did clean the earbuds off with alcohol wipes before using, though, just to be safe. These headphones sound great. I don't see much difference between the sound of these and cheaper headphones, but these seem to be built sturdier and they have a wider cord that tangles less. They also come with a carrying case that you can hold them in, which is great for me because I tend to throw headphones in my bag, which tangles them up. The white color is getting a bit dirty (with makeup, and dirt) but I do continuously clean it off with more alcohol. Seems to be doing the job!

Good pair of headphones...But still don't understand the hype.
Needing an extra a pair of headphones, I figured I'd give one of my favorite producer some more money (as if he actually needed it...). Dre Beats certainly provide a noticeably better sound quality in comparison to most cheaper brands. To pay around $150 for the sound quality that these and even more for more recent models provide, however, does not seem to be worth it in my opinion. It's probably for this reason that I only by Beats when they're on sale! For around $90, these headphones are a much better buy.
