Great introductory utensil that builds confidence!
Pro’s: Confidence builder; easy to hold and maneuver; can be used in either hand; easy to clean.Con: PriceI love these utensils. My son just turned a year old, we started introducing silverware at about 9months. However, he always needed assistance. With these, he has full control. He is confident and wants to use his silverware without prompting. My favorite thing about these, they can be used in both hands! As of right now my son prefers using is left hand. Most infant/toddler silverware are curved in a way that requires it to be used with the right hand. Not these! My son will pick them up and switch between hands or even have one utensil in each hand. My only complaint is the cost. Which is why I only gave them 4 stars. However, I would recommend this product. It is a great introductory utensil and encourages fine motor development. If you found my review helpful please let me know. Thank you so much! Happy shopping!

Good product
I’m not going to lie, these were a very expensive purchase for me but I have notice that my almost two year old has a hard time handling utensils. I blame myself because I feel like I’ve just fed him myself all this time and didn’t let him experiment. Anyway these are great. He holds them easily and is getting the hang of it

Perfect for my 2-year old grandson
My grandson is a very independent little boy. He insists on feeding himself. I wanted to encourage that, but I was scared of letting him use regular forks because they are too big for him, he's not coordinated enough to use them properly yet, and I was afraid he would hurt himself. With this fork and spoon set, I don't have to worry about that any more. He enjoys using them, they fit perfectly in his little hands, and he doesn't have to be that coordinated to use them, though he is getting it with some practice. I highly recommend this spoon and fork set for toddlers who like to feed themselves and parents and grandparents who want to encourage this in a way that is worry free.

Great to teach little ones to eat on their own
Very awesome utensils. My little one learned to eat by himself quickly using this. I highly recommend this. My son was 17 months when I got it. He can use regular utensils now and has been for about a month now he is 19 months going on 20

Worth it!
I introduced these to my daughter when she was 12 months old. These are SO much easier for her to use because of the short handle. Regular baby spoons still have a long handle which is difficult for a baby to handle and control. She flung so much baby yogurt when using the regular baby spoon. These chubby, short-handled utensils are definitely worth the money. She’s 15 months now and we use this spoon every day.

Not helpful
IMO you don't need these. Let your babe go straight to standard toddler silverware. These were much more awkward and had a learning curve. My daughter got impatient with them. Skipped on to standard silverware and she was better able to control and hold the food in the normal utensil. I get that they're helpful for some - just nothing that they're not necessary for all.

My daughter learned to control a utensil SO much better!
My daughter would make the biggest mess when using the spoons with the long handles. When we got these she greatly improved!! Still made a mess, but still so much better! AND she didn’t gag herself by putting in her mouth too far. ❤️

Fits well in toddler hands
My grandson was easily able to pick up this spoon or fork and use it immediately with no assist from Mom or Grandma. He scooped hummus and was able to get cucumber and tomato pieces on his fork. He was very pleased with himself.
