Absolutely useless. I actually watched a mosquito land on me right next to the band like it wasn't even there. Waste of money.

THIS IS SO GREAT~!!! i mean the smell isn't all that great(anything you get that works isnt that good smelling) but my 7 month old had no bites of any sort this past week at Sequoia and also we just had it open on the night stand for couple days now next to my sons bed. And its still working.... NO BITES! and well a product that actually does what it says it will is good but what made it great was the fact that the company that made this item contacted me if it was working and if i was satisfied or not and also there is a guarantee!!! and also on top of everything it comes in a reusable pouch . it doesnt sound like much but when you're in the woods and its a nice strong foil and plastic strong bag and you don't have to worry about leak. the only down side is the way its held together, the plastic pin tends to fall back out easily but i solved this with couple zip ties i keep handy. but yeah... all in all... i will buy again for my next family outing˜! and recommend to all my friends and co-workers˜!

I just got my bands the other day, and I am so pleased with them! I put two on each of my wrists before going for a walk that night. For me, stepping outside during dusk pretty much guarantees that every mozzie for two miles finds me; they just love me that much. Yeah, I'm not really all that flattered by it, truly. But using these bands, I had not one bite during my entire hour-long walk, despite the evening heat and humidity (I'm in central Florida). I was really pleasantly surprised! I am already planning to get these for my friends who enjoy activities outdoors after dusk. It'll be a fun and useful gift, and not expensive, either.I do have one note, but I must stress that this is not the fault of the bands themselves. I have extremely sensitive facial skin, and during my walk, I rubbed my hand and wrist across my cheekbone (for some reason). The spot where the band had come in contact with my facial skin started to burn and sting. However, upon arriving home, I just washed with mild soap and water, and the burning abated. There was no reddening of the skin or a visible rash of any sort. Additionally, the skin on my wrists, as it's not nearly as sensitive, was not at all affected. Again, I do not feel that this is the fault of the product. I've just extremely sensitive skin, and many, many products will make my facial skin freak out. I can imagine that I am the exception, not the rule. Just a little note for those of you who may be similarly dermatologically challenged. =)Update 07/19/2015: Went to do some yard work at dusk the other night, since that's really the only time here in Florida that I can do so (sensitive skin, stay out of the sun and all that). I forgot to put my mosquito bands on. Various parts of my body can now tell you what an idiot I was for forgetting. Didn't take the mozzies long to find me and start a gluttonous feast. So, in closing, these bands really do make a difference. And I'm a moron. =D

I'm sad to report that these did nothing for me. I started by wearing 1 & when that didn't work I went & put on 4 (one on each wrist & ankle). No dice. See my photos for proof. Also, I'd like to mention that they recommend keeping them stored in the resealable pouch that they come in. I could tell when I first tried to open the package that it was in danger of coming apart so that it wouldn't reseal. When I went to put on more that's exactly what happened. So I think they need to revamp both the packaging & the actual product. Just prior to coming here to write my review I contacted the seller regarding the money back guarantee since the product was totally ineffective for me. I'll update how that goes once I hear back.

I got a refund but it does not make up for the terrible rash I have.This product contains 30% Geraniol Oil which some people may be allergic to or get a reaction like I did. A month later, the itching has subsided but the marks are still there and brown. I would use caution because you don't know if you will get a reaction until you use the product.

So far these have worked. We used them on 4th of July. The town fireworks display takes place over a pond....mosquito heaven, of course. We came away without being bitten! I was so pleased I ordered more and sent them to my girls in Jacksonville, Fl.

These DO NOT WORK!!! I needed to find a way to keep mosquito from biting me because every time I get bit I develop a large itchy welt which makes going outside miserable. So When I found out I could buy a bracelet to keep them away I was excited to try it. I needed to do some evening yard work so I pulled a fresh bracelet out of the package I just received and hooked it around my belt buckle. I was initially shocked by how strong it smelled but figured it needed to be that strong to keep them away. I was wrong... After 45 minutes of working outside I ended up with 9 fresh mosquito bites, the band did not deter them at all, if anything it attracted them to their dinner time blood meal.I'm going to try to return these as they are a total waste of money. I would not recommend buying these.

I wish there was 15 more stars that I could give this product. I ordered these because I am one of those few people that the mosquito will find in a crowd. They welt up and hurt like the devil himself bit me. Well not anymore. I had one in my house that had bitten me three or four times a day everyday and I have tried all the old fashion and new fashion tricks to stop him. None of them worked till I put on my invisaband. I have worn it for 7 days now and have only had one bite and that is because my arm was covered up. I would normally by that time be covered with bites. I love my new way of protecting myself and will definitely be ordering more this summer. By the way if you welt up and hurt like me all you have to do is mix equal parts of vinegar and lemon juice then apply to the bite and within minutes it will no longer hurt and the welt will go down or at least this works for me.
