Good thing I got 3 packs it should hold me off till I get the real thing but wouldn't give.more than 2 stars I will change it if the 2nd last longer than 24 hrs.

don't waste your money
I bought this because half of my molar on my lower right side just broke and I don't have insurance or money to fix it right now. I read the reviews and thought, surely this would hold until I get my check. So I get my product the next day, and I follow the instructions exactly. This is where things get tricky. It says to scoop some out, roll it in a ball and put it in the hole or spot where the tooth is missing, right? BUT, this mess is sticky AF and rolling it around just made a mess. I tried but I ended up just putting some on my finger, and pressing it into the missing tooth area. It just would not stay. I tried and tried. I finally got some and rubbed it off into the tooth, and left it alone to dry. I didn't eat anything or drink anything for hours. It seemed to be in there good, right? After about 5 hours I decided to eat something. Yep, this crap fell right out and I ended up swallowing it. So I tried again, and this time I put it in before bed, and didn't eat or drink anything the entire night. I went to bed at about midnight, and I just ate for the first time, at 11am. That is 11 hours that it had to dry. Then, I decided to eat something, a sandwich, pretty soft and easy. Just some ham and cheese on white bread. This doggone thing popped out my tooth AGAIN. I am fed up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Works for a short term fix
I bought this to replace a filling that fell out after my last cleaning. The tooth is scheduled to be crowned later this month so I needed something to get me thru the two week gap until then. The thing is the filling I am replacing is/was huge. I mean the size of a pencil eraser...even a little bigger. Initially there was half a pocket for the material to cling too a little but the side that was left broke off so now there is just the roots of the tooth, which is a molar, with a little bit of tooth edge but not much. So this is really not a typical lost filling scenario. That said, it took a little trial and error to come up with the best way to handle my situation. In the end what works best is to use a small ball and pressed it into the top of what is left of the tooth. Pressing it down a few times to get out any pockets too seems to help - the more contact it has with the tooth the better. I found out pretty quick it takes some time to dry before you can really chew on it. I recommend you apply it before bed so it has the entire night to harden. It definitely works a lot better if it has longer to cure. It still only last about a day or so before it crumbles and needs to be replaced. Too be fair though, my situation is a bit extreme. If you are just replacing a normal size filling it should stay in place a lot longer than is has for me. In the end it gets the job done and is holding me over until I can see my dentist. Thankfully it is not expensive and you get a lot for the money...which comes in handy in a situation like mine.

Adhesion poor. Disappointed.
After following the instructions to the letter several times, I still found my loose crown came loose again within just a few hours. I never used that tooth to chew anything so the adhesive loosened on its own. I repeated using it 3 different times thinking perhaps I'd done something wrong but got the same failure all those times as well. I'm disappointed in a product supposed to have maximum strength. I even waited 3 full hours before even drinking anything to allow it to set as the instructions explained but still no go. A waste of money.

American dental care is horrible but this helps pain!
If you live in America.. you know how horrible and outrageously expensive our dental care is. This product COMPLETELY stops the nerve pain from dislodged fillings once it’s in. I use this with two teeth currently. One tooth started hurting about 3 years ago a few weeks after the filling first fell out. It was such excruciating pain…like the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I couldn’t sleep or eat and at that time, couldn’t afford a dentist. I was desperate and tried this product. I honestly didn’t think it would work. It calmed my tooth pain within minutes. The throbbing subsided and eventually stopped altogether. That tooth is still very sensitive and sometimes eating on it can hurt, but that’s better than the electric throbbing I was feeling. It probably needs a root canal which will cost $2500 that I don’t have the luxury of spending. It’s seriously so sad most of us here are getting this product because we can’t afford to get the treatment we need. We need to band together and stop letting dentists scam us. Just take it from me, if you’re in pain buy this. Leave it in for 2-3 days, then get a metal toothpick and take the old temp filling out, disinfect the tooth with antibacterial mouthwash, and put in a new one. This is the only thing that will stop your exposed nerves from hurting.
