Rust-Oleum 215173 EPOXYShield Concrete Patch, 24-Ounce

My rock wall is 37 years old and a small sized crack developed which zigzagged from top to bottom. The Rust-Oleum Epoxy Patch seems to have done a pretty good job of hiding it. It's kind of runny and dries shiny but if you coat it with sand before it dries it seems to blend in well. You can see from the pictures that up close, some of the runny parts are visible, and I missed some spots with the sand, but from a few feet away it looks good. I used a Starbucks stir stick to apply the epoxy and the vertical parts of the crack were troublesome.

A very workable product. Plenty of working time before hardening. Not sensative to exact mix ratio. I used it on 1 stall of a two stall. I used about 8 containers because it was badly spalled and there was a significant crack to fill between the stalls. I used black blasting sand to extend the product making a cement like mixure to fill the main crack. Several winter months out - so far so good. In the pitted areas i would trowel out then cover with blasting sand. Once hard i would use a chunk of patio block to grind at the sand to smooth and show where additional product needed to be placed. Filling the pits took several coats. Use an air compressor to blow the surface clean after grinding and before next coat. I repeated this until i was satisfied with the surface. Way too much effort but the floor looks restored. To coat the stall completely i used Rust-Oleum garage floor paint since most of the floor was this epoxy anywhay. The paint isn't holding up so well under the tires but the repair is. I also used the paint because it was getting cold out and didn't have prep time left to use floor shield epoxy system. The paint is so simple to apply i can touch it up quickly whenever i feel like it.

This works very well. Just dont wait long to apply , it sets up fast

Très efficace et facile d'application (en petites quantités car sèche assez rapidement). Seul point négatif pour moi est que ça me semble cher pour la quantité.
