Pony Jorgensen 2630 3-Inch C-Clamp, Orange

This is a high quality, heavy duty c clamp. You can instantly tell that its a very solid clamp with a reassuring amount of heft to it. I could see this being what people call BIFL, aka a "buy it for life" product, which is almost always the standard of quality you want to aim for when you are buying something to use for construction or diy projects, especially when working with power tools and sharp objects. If you can see an item withstanding a decade or two of regular use it makes it much easier to feel safe relying on it when working with a power saw or a grinder. I do like the easy to find and spot bright orange color a lot, it sucks when you cant find a smaller tool like this and you need it for something. Doesn't lock up as you tighten and loosen it, making it a reliable addition to your toolbox. It is easy to get a super firm grip with minimal effort. Only thing is to be careful trying to clamp particle board or anything softer because it may clamp too hard and leave an imprint. Its really easy to get super tight so just beware if you don't want to crush the object like when you're clamping a damaged faceplate back in place with wood glue to repair an interior door. The clamp has a fair amount of depth to compliment the 3 inches in length.

I bought this clamp to use when gluing smaller pieces of wood together for art projects. It’s a bit rough when it comes to unscrewing and screwing. I’m hoping this will work itself out with multiple applications. I don’t dare oil it because I use acrylic paint. Oil and water do not mix. It was cheap. It’s orange. That pretty much sums up its assets.

Better quality than I expected. Fastened flush and tight. Game changing when you need to clamp things down making jobs easier and more capable.

They do what they should - hold things tight. Not a problem but the orange paint would be better if sprayed on. Looks like they dipped them. The paint will chip when you inevitably drop one of these.

I meant to buy a big one to sort out my brakes but i ordered this little thing instead. Was sceptical at first (my Mechanic even laughed at me) but it actually worked and was able to change all 4 brakes on my car. Ha!

Not the biggest but exactly what i needed. Great price if youre just looking for a little clamp for a small job. Great quality, nice and sturdy

Good quality and great price. Thread wide and is coarse, but ideal for this clamp. Clamp is strong and does not loose its shape under clamp pressure. Colour makes it easy to find !
