OnePlus Type-C to 3.5mm adapter for OnePlus 6T Smartphone - Genuine OnePlus Accessory

Very disappointed here's why; The wire at the base of the headphone Jake came loose after a days use, this caused any sound to become distorted/ muffled, taking into consideration I haven't pulled or put any strain onto the adaptor I am very surprised for this lack for quality, on that note when removing the adaptor from its packaging I also noticed a smooth smudge on the headphone jacks white housing, I tried to rub the smudge away but found it was the white plastic itself, this I wasn't to bothered as it wouldn't had effected it's function.I ordered this adaptor simply because it's made by OnePlus, I would have hoped for better quality :(

It looks cheap - the cable is far thinner than the one on the phpto. It's clearly not an official OnePlus accessory. The USB connector sometimes works its way loose.

First time I ordered they sent me the wrong item. Have now received the correct one, but it feels cheap and has a really dodgy connection.. Takes some wiggling to get it to work righr. Really not happy seeing as a proper one from OnePlus is only a couple quid more.. Sound quality is fine, but it's unreliable.

Fit nicely unless one I bought from another brand and sound fantastic but be aware I don't think these are an official OnePlus product but they work just as well.

Left side stopped working after about 1 week - with various different headphones. Seems the cable is very lightweight internally. Sometimes both channels will work if the adapter is in exactly the right position.

After a few months of use the adaptor became loose and so I have to restart the music if the wire moved.

Quality is really poor, not at all genuine, barely lasted for a few months, ruined my earphones, waste of money - ended up buying the official adaptor. The earphones had to be positioned really specifically just to get the audio to work, it's really not worth it at all

This is a genuine OnePlus adapter because when you plug it in your phone screen lights up briefly whereas my generic one didn't do that. You can skip songs and pause without waiting for a few seconds which I also had to go with a generic adapter. I'm ordering another as a result!
