Awesome bungie like SMALL tie down!
Wow tough crowd! I like how people thought they were buying a large tie down for a motorcycle, or kayak to be strapped down. I've used these over a year and they have so many uses a traditional bungee does not have. Not to say it replaces a bungee because some times you need something springy. What is nice about these is they are surprisingly strong for there size and unlike most bungee cords these are adjustable from 1" to 5' of usable hold down flexibility. Hate seeing a good product being bashed because people purchased these for there unintended use. No you can't strap your boat or motorcycle down but you can use it very effectively to hold items down in your boat or strap items down to your motorcycle very effectively! These are a great product! As well great value! Big box store are much more exspensive for these same hold downs.

Great small tie down - multiple applications
These things are very useful. Good way to secure smaller items that don't need a big bulky ratchet strap. Pretty handy too for other applications. For example, i swaped out the 550 cord for longer cord and use them as guy wires with my portable 30 ft ham radio antenna.

Cheap, can cause cancer, and made in China.
The package it’s self is no larger than a single back potatoes. That is with 3 of these cables in it.1st clue the cable is no wider than a shoe string. Second made in China. Then the warning about meeting California Proposition 65. Warning: The product and its packaging contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

ProGrip Better Than Bungee is not elastic
Just to be clear, these are not elastic cord bungees, they are thin rope devices with an adjustable/movable clip. I don't find it to be as effective as an elastic or rubber bungee.

Good value but the clasp needs improvement.
These are super handy. The only complaint is the little wire clasp that closes the clip. It’s weak, poorly designed, and doesn’t close easily. One of them flew off on the first use. Other than that, the cam lock mechanism works great and it’s easy to adjust and release and you can use your own paracord to make a longer strap. If they’d fix the clasp, it would be five stars.

Works great for kayaks
I have 2 j hooks, drop in my kayak upside down, strap it down with two of these (some times I strap a 3rd one from bow of the kayak to the hood loop, just so I know its still there). I have racked up probably close to 1000 miles on the interstate (at 70+mph) with my kayak and these straps. The kayak has never budged, even driving during a wind storm/ thunder storm. After a year of use, no signs of wear on the product.

Small 1/8 inch diameter size
The problem I found with this is that the ad over-represents the product. This is because the Amazon ad picture and the "bungee" in the label suggests a large, bungee-like cord, not the weenie little 1/8 inch diameter, non-stretchable cord that is provided. The description does suggest the small size but it is definitely not obvious. The I/8 inch diameter size should be clearly shown/stated in the ad. If you are after a 1/8 inch adjustable strap for securing smaller items, then this is a great product for you.

Do Not Buy
POS ... my worst purchase of the year. Used it tie down a porous tarp on my truck. Extremely lightweight. Difficult to tighten and loosen. When it is tightened, it doesn't hold up to its own weight. Do not buy.
