Harmony Kids Standard Rocker, Hot Pink Cotton

I ordered this chair for my twin granddaughters. Wanted something sturdy and LIKED that it didn't rock as much as an actual rocking chair. They had a rocking bench that they were always climbing on and falling from, because it rocked so much, they couldn't balance themselves on it -- even though, of course, they shouldn't have been standing on the seat.I ordered it for a Christmas gift and was very disappointed at first when it was sale priced but Amazon said it was temporarily out of stock & more would be coming very soon. Then, suddenly, they said it would be 4 or 5 months before they got stock on this particular chair. I was so upset since time had already passed and it was already mid-January by that time, with my Christmas gift still in limbo. Amazon told me that I could change the order to a different print or color but all they had left then was leopard, cowhide & some other non-girlish print. This would not do because these chairs would be used in the main living room and would look terrible with the room's other furnishings. But, after going back & forth, Amazon came through and suddenly I received notice that the 2 chocolate micro chairs would be delivered to my granddaughters' home in a matter of days. I was thrilled. However, that was on January 18th. Since they live in a different state, I didn't get to see the chairs until mid-February. I was not happy to see that one chair IS chocolate colored BUT the other chair is a very, very dark color - I don't know if it's charcoal brown or brownish black or what. That color isn't even shown as a choice! My daughter thought I ordered them that way so nothing was said to let me know of this terrible difference in the colors of the "matching" chairs. Guess now that they're used, nothing can be done.Aside from that, the twins love the chairs. They do seem very sturdy and, for the price, made well. One can't expect to pay not all that much for a chair and have it finely made, as a more expensive chair would be. It fits its purpose. The girls easily sit in it and enjoy having snacks in front of the TV and at other times when they are just feeding their baby dolls or playing with a game or just relaxing. They are able to push it to different locations in the room, but it doesn't seem to tip easily or fall over easily. Aside from the color thing that upsets me, the chairs themselves are really very nice for the money. One thing I might have done differently if I knew what I know now, is that I might have ordered a lighter color, like maybe the tan micro. I ordered the chocolate because I thought it wouldn't show dirt as much, but I see that it very much shows residue from toddlers' sticky little hands or remnants of a banana or other snack. I know those things don't look as obvious on the lighter micro because I've seen evidence of that. All in all though, I think they were a great buy and I'm glad I didn't have to wait 4 or 5 months for them to arrive. It's so cute to see the girls sitting in chairs that are just the right size for them. By the way, they are almost 2 years old.

Great little chair for the price. Could have paid a little more attention to the upholstery job and small details. Perfect size for my 10 month old and she has room to grow. I'm predicting it will still be useful to her until she's at least five. She can already climb in and out of it, even though she isn't walking yet. Arrived MUCH quicker then the 2-3 weeks expected shipping time. It was here in 5 days and packaged well. Color was pretty accurate, although I do think it is a little lighter than I expected it to be. Little one loves it, so I do too. We are not currently using the "rocker" attachments so I cannot comment on those. The little isn't walking or really steady yet, so I don't want the chair moving when she's getting in/out of it. There was a small upholstery malfunction on the front of one of the arms, where it was not properly tucked in before finishing it. Not a huge deal, just would of been nice for it to not have a blemish, and is why I'm taking a star. Overall, I'm thrilled with the purchase and for the price point it's a great deal. I've read several reviews complaining of the small size, but it is true to it's description and is meant to be for a toddler, which last I checked are tiny little people in need of tiny little chairs :) LOL Go ahead and by it, esp. if your child is around 1-2 as you will get the most use out of it bc of it's small (perfect) size for their little bums :)Even though, I'm complaining about the blemish on the arm of the chair, I think I would of still purchased this even knowing that the upholstery might not be "perfect" as it's probably the best quality for the price out there. The chair is nice and heavy so it doesn't slide around when LO gets in and out of it, which is a major plus, but it's still light weight enough to easily be able to move it when needed.Sorry for the blurry photo :)

I have actually purchased three of these chairs. In 2011, I ordered one for my son. It has been an excellent chair for him, we left the rocking legs off so that it was more stable. Fabric washes well with a damp cloth. I liked it so much when I had another child in 2014 I decided to order another one so that we had two the same. When I ordered the second one, the chair that arrived looked the same but was complete garbage. It was light weight, and the fabric was thin and different. IMPORTANT: This is where I would recommend that you pay attention to the supplier. The first chair was from amazon.com - awesome! The second order came from- discount suppliers. - Aweful. I didn't realize that I was not ordering from the same supplier when I reordered. When I reviewed my previous order from chair #1 I realized the difference and quickly returned chair #2 and ordered chair #3.. this time from amazon.com itself (as a supplier). When the third chair arrived I was relieved because it is the same great quality as chair #1. Built with a solid frame, great fabric so its cleans up well. I am extremely happy with chairs 1 and 3.. but 2.. horrible. The only difference was the shade of the fabric but that doesn't bother me as much because I am sure the fabric coloring is just different because of the 4 years between the orders and production.Picture:Chair # 1 is in the back purchased in 2011 from amazon.com - Excellent!Chair # 2 is on the left purchased 2015 from discount supplier.
