I ordered the Superio plastic hamper because I was looking for a purple hamper. A standard hamper in dark purple is hard to find and this one is a nice color. It arrived in about 4 days in an oversize box. It arrived with the lid unattached and no directions. After about 15 minutes and with the help of a screwdriver which I used to bend the plastic lid I was able to fit the openings in the lid over the pins. This was risky as the hamper is made of hard plastic and the lid could have broken or one of the pins could have snapped off rendering the lid unusable. The color is a deep purple and pretty much looks like the picture. The hamper itself is made of a very hard, very thin inflexible plastic with a pattern which looks like a knitted sweater. The pattern has tiny holes in the pattern for ventilation. The lid opens from the front/top and the hamper has an opening on each side for carrying. It is very lightweight. It will hold about one and a half standard loads of laundry. I have several issues with this hamper. First of all the customer should not have to attach the lid. There is no way to do this easily. There is no "standard method" to attatching the lid. If the item breaks while attempting to attach the lid the item is basically ruined. Second the cost ( I paid $46.85) is quite high for an item which looks like something that could be purchased at Wal-Mart or SuperK for about $18 to $25. Also because it shipped loosely in an oversize box this could easily be crushed during the shipping process. Actually I was surprised that it was intact considering how rough the shipping process can be on packages. Overall the hamper works for me and the color is nice. However knowing what I know now I would probably have passed on this item.

Not sure what the others have issues with about the lid not being attached. Mine came attached. I have had no issues at all with is item. It's great for small spaces and will hold about a week Worth's of men's clothing size 40 pants and 2xl shirts along with other clothes.

Love the grape color, its light weight. But I didn't realize it was going to be kid size. It does or will not hold much, but I will keep it. It is the same color as the accent wall in the bedroom.

Side of lid is chipped, cracked, and broken. Returning is too much trouble. Not worth $40.

I bought this thinking it was gray...it turned out to be purple. I KNOW IT SAYS PURPLE IN THE DESCRIPTION BUT IT LOOKS GRAY IN THE PICTURE. Reading is definitely fundamental, but so are clear pictures

It wasn’t as shiny as the photo but I still loved it... very pretty

I ordered a hamper and received a toilet plunger. When I finally receive the hamper it was not what was described.It is small and cheap. Certainly not worth the cost. Glorified and expensive laundry basket!
