This is a hand piece of kit for any campers or BBQ hosts.The light is very bright the charge holds well and it does kill mosquitoes. Moths are also attracted to this light for obvious reasons. But seen as they don't bite what's the harm.The multi use white light is very helpful, we hung it above the table using the lamp function and moved it to the door on the zapper function when necessary.Next morning the bugs would be evident and easily washed off of the lamp.Extra little thing is that the silicone sleeve that covers the white light is also glow in the dark after being charged by the lamp.I actually bought a solar charger and it charges this lamp in a half a day so never needed to change batteries or find a power source so brilliant for camping especially.We kept this on the zapper function on the bar (alcohol table) while camping and did a great job, so much so that the others in the group will be investing in these.

This was one of my trickiest reviews to get the balance right. Initially I was going to give 1 star because it didn’t seem to work as I saw mosquitoes flying around its light backwards and forwards as if they were sunbathing in it and thinking “you can’t catch me I am not that stupid”. However, despite not thinking it was having any effect I left it running all day and night under the bed (a bed with a high clearance) and after a few days I noticed five zapped mosquitoes and a fly in it so it did work, just don’t expect every mosquito to head strait at it in an instant, it takes a little time. The build quality is very good for its very small size (ideal for packing for holiday) and it has an unusual pair of hanging clips which look weird at first sight but you soon discover that they give you many more options for hanging it such as on tent poles if needed. The light/touch end has a rim that also acts as a table top stand if you don’t need the light. It has various light/torch options and all in all an impressive little gadget for the price so while it’s no silver bullet its very much worth a go for the price. The only downside is that the UV light is quite bright (what do you expect if it’s going to attract mosquitoes) and I found it difficult to sleep with it on which is why I put it under the high clearance bed in my case. It does run on its internal rechargeable batteries for quite a while but I ran it connected to a power supply permanently (standard micro USB cable and adapter - cable supplied but not the adapter) which worked fine for me.

Works well.Lasts all night on battery.You couldn't use this in a tent unless you can sleep with the light on as it's sooooooo bright. But that's kinda how it works.Great to use outside when it's dark but useless in any lighter conditions (as to be expected)The only change I would suggest is clearly labeling the 2 light buttons but after regular use you soon learn which 1 does what light

**Update on purchase**After posting my negative review, the seller contacted me and offered me a full refund on the item, very impressed with this offering so i have moved my star rating to 3*Thanks for your customer service....---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I write very few reviews but i had to say something about this - it is COMPLETELY USELESS!!!!! Ok the light/torch is ok but if you are planning on killing any sort of bug with it you would have more success trying to hit them with it instead of relying on the crappy blue light!! Such a waste of time and money...i'd return but it was only sent by Amazon and not supplied...raging!!! Keep your money your pocket!!!

The media could not be loaded.  During the summer nights i really enjoy to sit outside in the garden but i was very annoyed by mosquitos and bugs.I purchased this based on reviews and price and looks like it is a very good choice.I tested it for 1 week and is effective on trapping bugs, mosquitos and other fliesThe good thing is that it has a good battery and with one charge, i can use for 3 nights using it in mosquito trap mode and lamp mode.It has 2 types of light, very handy when you are outside without a source of light.As you can see from my video, it is a efficient bug killer. The video is taken after 2 nights outside.recommend 100%

The whole thing is made from a high quality plastic. The light is bright but not too bright. it is light weight and small size Travelling with this is easy and can be simply hung up. Very compact for its power and works great. buying it for summer holiday . Comes With USB it can be loaded anywhere, mosquito killer lamp can charge with laptop/car charger/power bank/plug charging.any way it is a Great product

This has been good to use in the summer! The handy little light underneath has been good for summer evenings and have had no issue with mosquito bites so has done a great job! It’s so easy to charge you plug in using a usb and it takes a few hours but battery life has been great for us. It’s so lightweight and has a handy hook so you can hand it onto anything or it stands perfectly well! It’s quite small in size so easy to transport about!

We are going to spend our summer holiday in Thailand this year. Knowing that there are lots of mosquitos and I had been looking for something to protect my girls who has very little experience with mosquitos. Then I saw this.It arrived quickly and I was surprised by how small it is, really just about the torch that we use, which is perfect for us to take with us to Thailand!There are 4 settings of lights , including a flash light. And I think it will be good for us to stay in a foreign country. There is a button to turn on the Mosquito light too. Well, it's been cold in UK (Where is the summer?) and I haven't seen any mosquito here yet. So I can't wait to catch some in Thailand!It also says waterproof so it really is perfect for us to take it by seaside.Can't wait!
