Thule TKCAP TK Base Cover 4 Pack [Available While Supplies Last] TK Base Cover, Black, Set of 4

From time to time, I forget to pop these off when I take my Colorado to the car wash and, of course, like socks in the wash, it comes out with one missing so, for the price and the availability, I bought two sets and should have enough now for the foreseeable future. These are OEM and fit perfectly with the rack that I own. If I lose these...I'll be back :)Seller had them to me quick and well packaged.

One of the original cap was missing. I bought a set of four because I thought others might get knocked off. I glued a cup nut into the side and hand screw a bolt through the nut and under the support bar on the top. I don’t believe any more will accidentally fall off.

Set of 4 is included in the price. Pretty good deal. These covers unfortunately do not secure really well to rack. Sort of snap into place, but not really.Its the design that could be improved. Lost one in a car wash. Could just leave the racks on, but choose not to.

Lost one of these in the car wash. Had to order another set of 4. That is good because I do have extra caps if I lose another. I actually ordered several sets for future use. The caps do stay in place at 80 MPH here in Texas. Good product. I not just recommend the caps, but if you are considering a carrier for your truck cap or SUV Thule is the only way to go.

Poor clamping design

These are very handy to have. They cover over the top of your bar's feet to keep them out of the elements. A must have if you want to run your vehicle without the bars. My Thule bars came with four of these but unfortunately there is no way to lock them and Thule doesn't have a lockable version because of that someone just took them right off.

These are terrible! They don't stay in place, they don't snap on very securely. If you use a carwash, which is NORMAL! these things will pop right off and be gone. If I drive fast, they are still there, but are jarred out of position, seem like they are just a small nudge away from falling off. Set of 4 lasted for 1 week, now 2 are missing. I honestly can't understand the people that give these a 4 or 5 star review because "even when you lose them in the carwash, they are cheap!" Does the product actually need to cut you and draw blood before you'll give it a negative review? These things are junk!.I'm a professional automotive engineer, and guess what? I know that cars and trucks use carwashes! Who is designing automotive products but doesn't know this critical fact? The product has to survive it's environment, if there is something about it's environment that will make the product fail, it's a FAIL, start over! I don't think there is a single TKCAP that has been in service for more than 6 months, they are all in ditches and carwash dumpsters.No, I am not going to get out of my truck and take these 4 precious plastic caps off and then put them back on after the wash. Makes me embarrassed to be Swedish, because the guy that designed these is a Tool, or maybe his boss said "Lars, this product can't cost more than 0.15 Euro to build, so do the best you can."If you really must have a clean looking rack base after you take your bars off, these are your only choice. I'll just go with the ragged look instead of paying for this ridiculous product.

Seriously, I don't mind paying for a cheaply made product so long as it works. These do not work. They don't securely attached, fall off in the car wash, and are over-priced. Shame on Thule for being so cheap!

I have a Leer cap on my truck and it has the Thule roof racks incorporated into it. I have removed the racks and I had lost one of the cover caps. These are the exact cap(s) so I am very pleased to have my cap compete once again.

Works great on my Tacoma’s Thule roof rack base.
