D-Mannose 6 OZ

This stuff is AWESOME! For years, I've had symptoms of chronic UTI. The only problem is that every time I go to the emergency room or the doctor, the test results always come back Negative or Inconclusive so I've always been given antibiotics regardless. I got tired of that and decided to finally visit a Urologist hoping I'd be given a more conclusive answer. Disappointedly, I did not. He performed a physical test, a cystoscopy (OMG does that hurt!!!!!!) and finally, when he couldn't find anything, a CT scan (which is SUPER EXPENSIVE). Not surprisingly, nothing was found. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and gave this D-Mannose Powder a try. I'm very glad I did. It works very fast and lasts very long. The most I've had to take it was 4 times in one day with my worst symptom (i.e. excruciating can't-think-of-anything-else-but-the-pain and want-to-rip-out-my-bladder pain). It really works. I've also tried Solaray CranActin but I find this works so much better and faster for me and don't have to even take it every day. Of course, everyone is different so what works for me might not work as well for you BUT I definitely suggest you give it a try. I usually drink it with plain ol' water and it doesn't taste like much; it kind of sweetens the water a bit, which I find pleasant because I hate drinking water. As far as "curing" anything, I can't say. I haven't been diagnosed with anything specifically but it has significantly lessened my discomforts and has certainly done much more work than the ER, Doc, and Urologist combined.Another point is I purchased this product at my local Vit. Shoppe because I needed it immediately. It was way more expensive in the store than through Amazon so I'll make sure to keep some in stock.

Being a young woman can be fun, but it can also be horrendous when faced with a UTI. This isn't the first D-Mannose product I used, but it is by far the best.The first D-Mannose herbal supplement I used was purchased for me by my boyfriend at a local drugstore. It's important to mention that it was in capsule form and only had 1000 mg of D-Mannose per serving. It also had 400 mg of cranberry juice powder infused into it. Anyway, I took this concoction for about a week, but immediately on the first day of taking it, I broke out in hives. I do not have any allergies on either of the two ingredients, but nonetheless that product must have had some contaminants in it, so I had to throw it out (what a waste of $17.99).NOW is the second D-Mannose product I am using and it's going to be the one I stay with. I've been using it occasionally, whenever I feel that I have to, in order to prevent the development of an infection. And I must say that it is perfect. I am using powder form, which contains 2000 mg of PURE D-Mannose. I mix a teaspoon into a glass of water and drink up. It has a sweet taste, but I'm not worried about the sugar intake because it all flushes out of the urinary tract, sweeping away uninvited bacteria. As far as I heard, D-Mannose works only on E-coli bacteria, but then again up to 90% of all UTIs are caused by that bacterium.I have no adverse reactions from NOW's D-Mannose, as I did with my first product. The price is a great value and I'm happy with what I purchased.

Ok, let's be honest, I have never written a review for an item in my entire life; however, this product has changed my life. I've been on antibiotics daily since I was 15. I have Lupus and this disease has caused serious damage to my kidneys. I was urinating blood on a weekly basis. Not to be graphic, but I was constantly in pain and God forbid if I had sex...the infection would get much worse. I had changed my life because of these infections. Afraid to have sex, showers with non-scented soap 3-4 times DAILY, avoiding certain foods, etc. Being laid up in a hospital with iv antibiotics was the norm for me. I am pretty much resistant to all antibiotics now because of how much I used them. By the grace of God I came across an article regarding this powder helping UTIs or kidney infections. I jumped on it, bought it and can not believe the results. I have been without an infection for 2 months! If you are anything like me, you know how amazing this is. I take a tablespoon morning and night with a SMALL amount of water. (The more diluted it is, the less effective.) I will never go without this product, EVER!

This stuff is amazing! Such a simple cure/solution for issues with the bladder that come often to women in the perimenopause years. All the doctors I could find and all the lab work they did on me could not identify the pain source and give me pain relief in this area, but this power did. I started with 1 teaspoon every 4 hours for a week, then the second and third week I did one in the am and one before bed. From the fourth week+, I do 1 teaspoon in water at bedtime. So far, so good and I have been using for about 2 months now. I love it and until I get through this time of my life, I will use this every day to keep the urinary tract clean. One word of caution-you may experience gas and loose stool the first and second week, as this is the "flushing" of the system you need and it may be aggressive for some. This is just what worked for me-tailor the dosage to your body.
