Definitely a Great Game!
We bought this for Christmas for our 7 and 3 1/2 year olds. Now the one thing you must know is that we also purchased a Wii, so we knew that anything we got was going to be up against some stiff competition. Believe it or not, Cranium Balloon Lagoon has been the game that they've wanted to play the most aside from the Wii!It's an excellent game - not only for the educational activitis, but because it's so different than any other board game I've seen. You don't move your character around a board, you just hang onto it. You spin the spinner in the middle and have to do whatever task you land on. From fishing for letters to trying to match pictures, this game is entertaining for the whole family!

Cranium Balloon Lagoon
When I first purchased this product I was pleased. My grandson had received it as a gift for one of his birthdays and the children and I enjoyed playing it. That is why I wanted one for my home.We have only played it about 4 times and the musical timer broke; the game board does not stay together very well (unless you have it on a smooth surface - not carpeting); and the stickers come off the game pieces. The box is not sturdy enough nor does it pack away well. I paid too much for it and could not even find a contact address to write the manufacturer about the timer. The children ask about it but I tell them it is broken. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! It is a shame company's do not take pride in their products to make them durable. It was not man-handled by any means.

WOW! Lots of fun for kids....and mom and dad too!
This is a great game all around! There are 4 different activities in the carnival, and a timer so you don't get too caught up trying to master one. There are wonderful educational aspects to it, but it's so much fun, your kids won't even realize they are learning.First is the frog jumping, a bit like ants in the pants. This one takes a little motor skills, but how much fun to have frogs jumping all over the table! Next is the fishing game, you use a magnetic fishing pole to fish out letters and try to spell the word on the flip book. My 5 yr old loves this one, it is fun and it helps build spelling and word recognition.Then there is the matching dice game (my favorite) You pour the dice into the shack and try to make matches of different carnival foods. Great for children and fast paced enough to make them learn to look quickly and choose. Last is the spinner game where you have to keep spinning the four sections to make different under the sea characters. This one is great for matching pictures (a bit like a puzzle) and fun because of the silly creations you may end up making. Such as a scuba diver with octopus legs.Great fun for the whole family!

Entertaining Game, but needs some improvements
my 6 year old really loves this game. You spin the wheel in the center and pick 1 of 4 events. Depending on how you do at the event you get 0 to 4 balloons to put into your mover, when you fill up your mover, you win. The frog flip is good, the dice matching is good, but the make a word with the magnetic fishing pole simply doesnt work, no matter what you do with the fish pond, so you wind up taking the tile out and just leaving them on the board. but overall one of the better games out there for a 4-7 year old range

Didn't love it
I bought this game for my 3 and 5 year old sons based on good reviews. Maybe they will like it when they are older, but right now it's a bit too complicated to play on their own. Even playing it with adults, they lose interest quickly and would rather play with all the loose parts than play a real game by the rules. There are a lot of little parts to lose and the magnets pieces have come off of the letters. I also bought them hullabaloo and they love that game. It's easy, fun, active, and they can play it on their own with no little pieces to lose.

Condition not represented accurately/
I am extremely disappointed. Part of the game arrived with battery corrosion and it does not work. There was no mention of this in the description. I tried to scrape out the corrosion and replace the batteries, however it still does not work.

Missing parts
The 6 dice as mentioned in the package contents were missing. We had to order it separately. Disappointed.
