This is a nice little siphon brewer. One reason I really like it is because I can get my water started then go get ready. Water does take a little while before it is ready to begin the brewing process. Siphons are fun to watch and make a great cup of coffee. There are a few things I don't like about this brewer. The main thing is the lack of temp. control. Siphons are usually heated until the water starts to rise then the temp lowered from there. This is just a siphon on a hot plate, no control except over the brew time. Also HATE cloth filters. They are just a pain to store properly. I would recommend getting a different filter holder and going with some of the Hario paper filters or a mesh filter.Overall this makes a good cup of coffee. Great for in the morning if you don't have time to play coffee chemist. Just make sure to put in your coffee after water has risen to top chamber. Brew for no longer than 3 minutes, take off hot plate and enjoy.Also, with this being a Japanese made product, the instruction book is in Japanese. Entirely Japanese, no English.Have fun and enjoy

No temperature & power on/off control. It makes it difficult to make your coffee. I'm sick and tire to trying different timing and method to perfect my coffee. So much trouble making a good cup of coffee. I am not using it anymore, and I'm going to find someone to buy it off me.

the best syphon ever

Gets the fullest flavor out of your beans due to the siphon/double press. I usually have it "steep" for about 2-3 minutes. Makes great cups of coffee every time with any type of beans!

とても気に入りましたが、使い方が悪いのか、思ったより早く壊れてしまいました。気に入っていたので又購入したいくらいです。
