Great litle pitcher
This is an awesome pitcher to steam milk in if you have an espresso machine it does a great job and heats up quickly because the stainless steel retains and evenly distributes the heat, also if your espresso machine is like mine then you know that its hard to get a cup under the steam wand but this slips right under it, also you can easily burn your finger using a regular mug but with this pitcher the handle is far enough away that there is no issue while holding onto it. 20 oz is plenty to make 2 lattes if your putting them in average size mugs. I also recommend buying a frothing thermometer so that you do not scold your milk, or if you have a thermometer the prime temperature is around 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit. Remember that this pitcher is pretty short but it holds a lot because it has a large diameter, and you cannot beat the price of 7.99 and free shipping especially if your an amazon prime member just click 2 day 1-click

Perfect frothing pitcher for espresso machines with short steaming wands.
This is my first frothing pitcher, and I've been extremely pleased with it. The biggest concern I had with getting a frothing pitcher was that most are too tall for my el-cheapo espresso maker, which has a very short steaming wand. I didn't want to get a pitcher where all I could do was aerate the milk, but I didn't want a 12oz pitcher that wouldn't allow me to steam enough milk for my needs. This pitcher is short but wide, allowing my steaming wand to reach proper penetration, but still allowing a decent amount of milk. Very well constructed, attractive, fast shipping and good size give this pitcher two thumbs up. And not sure what one reviewer was talking about with his comment on sharp edges. It's not razor sharp by any means. If you put enough pressure on it you could probably cut yourself, but I'm not sure why he was bearing down that hard on it. It's about as sharp as a non-serrated butter knife.

Love the style!
I bought this pitcher as a gift for my brother, who is an aspiring at-home barista, from me, who is an experienced barista. Several of the pitchers on Amazon were great, but I chose Krups because the unique style really caught my attention. I love the extended handle vs. the traditional!Other than aesthetically pleasing, it's a great pitcher. No problems so far... it is good quality and serves its purpose very well. 20oz is the minimum size, I think, for making a drink for one person. It holds the milk and gives you enough room to comfortably steam and froth. I wouldn't go any smaller. Go up from here if you intend to make more than one drink at a time. Would definitely buy from Krups again!

Perfect for Steaming 8 Ounces of Milk at a Time
My espresso machine came with a very small frothing pitcher, designed to steam only 4 ounces of milk at a time. I like to make lattes and so wanted to steam 8 ounces at a time. This pitcher is exactly the right size for that. I worried that it would be too large or too small, but it's just right. It also looks sturdier and nicer than the one that came with my machine. I love the pouring lip and the handle also. I can't claim to be an expert, but I think it's perfectly designed for what I use it for: steaming and frothing milk. It also looks pretty--nice and shiny.Note: I only use soy milk. I'm not sure if there's any difference in how much if froths up, but just thought I should add that in case there is a difference.

Great Pitcher, But Wish I Had Gotten a Different Size
I must be honest to start this out...I am an aspiring barista and am not that great yet. I use a Capresso 4 cup machine. I only make cappuccinos for myself and my girlfriend, thus only two at a time. I personally think the the pitcher is quite large for my machine and is difficult to get the frothing pitcher deep enough in the pitcher to submerge the tip all the way. I have to hold the pitcher at a certain angle. However, this is not because of flaws with the product, but becuase of the combination I am using.I most likely am going to order the 12 oz. pitcher as I think that would be a better fit for my machine and the capacities with which I would like to use it. Furthermore, it could just be me and that I am not adding enough steamed mil or froth, but I have watched quite a few youtube videos and I think I am adding enough, if anything, probably too much. So, the breakdown:Pros: Well built, stylish design, reasonable price.Cons: I think it is large for my Capresso 4 cup machine as I have to add a lot of mil to be able to submerge my frothing tip. I will try the 12 oz version.Overall, I would recommend this product and give it my stamp of approval. However, I would point out my sizing issues.

it's probably my fault for not cleaning w/sponge and soap regularly
this functioned really well for frothing and heating milk for my lattes. the handle never got hot. the size was perfect for one very milky latte. unfortunately, i kept just rinsing it out and now i can't seem to get the bottom totally cleaned. like i said, it's probably my fault. i highly recommend it.. just make sure you buy one that's the right size for the quantity of milk you want to put in as you shouldn't fill more than 1/3-1/2 full to allow space for foam.

Slice and dice
WARNING!!! The edge of this product is very sharp. I had to use a metal file to smooth the edge after slicing my hand open and it's still sharp enough to do damage.
